Finney was really good friends with griffin now and concidering it was february 17 and griffin hasnt been kidnapped yet finney was sure it was time so he decided to ask griffin if he could spend a week at his house because theyre house is getting "renovated" tho the truth was that finney and gwens dad , terrance , was going out of the country for a long time , tho finn didnt know for how long and since he was leaving them their uncle jonathan was visiting them but both gwen and finney hated their uncle so they decided to try and spend time at their friends houses as much as they could.
But now back to griffin and finneys convo, griffin was super exited hearing what finn said and replied to him "yes! I would love it if you stayed at mine for a whole week!" He said , smilling. Finn also gave a warm smile but he then thought of something and asked griffin "are you sure your mom wouldnt mind?" Griffin didnt change his expression and said "no! She would be super happy! I dont have any other friends so she would be happy that im socialising!" Finney laughed at how childish griffin waa being "alright if you say so griff".
Timeskip
February passed withiut griffin getting kidnapped, finney was relieved that griffin was still alive but always looking out for him.
Now, he had to find billy showalter but how would he do that? It isnt easy to find a guy that is almost always sick and never comes to school (my hc is that billy never goes to school bcs he hates it, he makeshis parents say that he is sick and his parents somethimes actually belive him since billy usually wakes up at 5 am to deliver the newspapers to houses) and then an idea striked to finns head! He can try to offer help to billy when he is delivering newspapers and it also has a bonus since that was when billy got kidnapped.
So finn thought about waiting for the next day but right before he goes to bed , his best friend bruce , texts him "hey finn, me and robin were going out to the skatepark , wanna come with us?" Finn looked at the message and thought this would be a good oportunity to plan how to save bruce and robin so he went to griffin "hey griff , my friend robin and bruce want to go to a skate park with me do you wanna go?" Finney asks him. Griffin smiled at him so happily finney didnt see him smilling like this before "yes yes yes yes yes! Please!! I would love to meet your friends!!" Griffin said jumping exitedly." Okay okay calm down ill text them" finney took out his phone and texted bruce "omg yeaa i would love to but can my friend griffin come? Hes our age by the way"(ik griffin is younger than them but for me he is around 12-13) bruce, looked at the message and showed it to robin , robin said "yeah sure why not" and bruce replied to finns message with " he can , neither me and robin mind , meet us at my house?" Finney reading the message went to get ready and so did griffin.

Finney and griffin arrived at bruces house , bruce greets finn with a hug and robin does their handshake. Finney introduces the three to each other and they get along pretty well , finney is happy about that feeling proud of himself that griffin didnt die or get kidnapped.
The 4 arrive at the skate park and they start to skate robin notices finns skate board

"Hey finn, have you noticed that our skateboard kind of match?" Robin said slightly blushing "o-oh yeah youre right " finney said going slightly pink at the thought of matching with his crush."gay" said griffin taking a photo of them with his camera"griffin deleta that right now!" Finney said leaving his skateboard down and chases griffin around the park.
But as he is running he bumps into a tall figure of a boy. "O-oh..im so sorry i didnt mean to-" finney was about to apologise more but he looked up at the figure and realised it was THE pinball vance hopper. Finney got nervous thinking that vance would beat him up and his friend were watching this scene worried for finney but luckily for finney once vance hopper saw him he felt butterflies in his stomach so he decided to help the boy up instead of beating him up . Altough finn was suprised he knew this was his chance to befriend vance "im so sorry about that..! Im finney , finney blake and youre vance hopper right?"finney said hoping vance would yell at him "yeah thats me. Be careful next time tho dirtbag.you owe me one" vance said slightly blushing the more he looks at finn. "W-well would you like to be friends..if not we could skate together , my friends are here too if you dont mind ofcourse" finney said being nice to vance . Vance thought about it for a few seconds "okay fine i will skate with you and your friends but dont think that we are actually friends and that you dont owe me anything if you do this" vance scoffed " yes sir!" Finney said grabbing vance by his hand and dragging him to where bruce , robin and griffin were.finn got his skateboard off the floor and let go of vances hand.
Finneys friends were silentlh staring at him shoked until griffin speaks up "w-wait wait wait! Did you just talk with vance hopper and not get beaten up? Are you two friends? Or lovers? Why were you holding hands?" "What!? I am not dating him! I just wanted to be nice to my ..uh old friend yeah! Old friend! Weve been friends for yeaaars and yeaaars now." Vance said giving finney a death glave that totally screamed "if you dont agrre with me im going to kill you" so finn nodded in agreement and the boys continued to stare in even bigger shook.
Ugh im so tired and if im being honest this chapter is boring asf so sorry guys😭😭🙏🙏 I ASSURE you that when finn gets to save everyone the chapters will get much more interesting😭
