Hannahs POV:
Feeling lightheaded, I scrunch my closed eyes in weariness. Stretching out my arms to release the tension of my muscles, I slowly open my eyes, blinking a couple times to clear my view. The first thing I see and sense is that I'm in unfamiliar room. Confusion fills my mind, as I tiredly try to make myself sit up, when a cold hand comes into contact with my shoulder, pushing me to lay back down.
I slightly flinch at the contact, looking at the owner of the hand with now my widened eyes. It's the same man who kidnapped me. All my memories flash back to me, looking at the man with clear fear evident in my eyes, while he gave me an unreadable expression.
His face was so close to me, I could smell his minty breath. I felt paralysed under his void stare, afraid to do any wrong move.
"Finally awake from your sleep? Sleeping beauty." He says in a playful yet dark tone. I kept quiet, not knowing what to say. He retorts leaning away, his hand away from my shoulder before tucking it in his pocket.I slightly adjust my position, slowly sitting on the bed. "Um.. how long have I been asleep?" I shyly ask him.
"For a couple of hours. You passed out from a panic attack." He replied, crossing him arms before continuing. The side of his lips lift up.
"You know, you are a lot weaker than I thought. Have you always been like this? It's as though you don't even know how to take care of yourself. That's quiet pathetic, don't you think? " He asks with a tint of mockery in his tone. I duck my head down at his question, letting his words get to me.
"I-I'm sorry.." I whispered, apologising for no reason. I didn't know what else to say to him. But, it felt as though I committed a crime judging by his wording. My eyes went glossy, indicating that tears will spill, making me blink a couple of times to prevent them from coming out.
Me being the nice and considerate person I am, putting myself in others shoes, I blamed myself in order to prevent any argumentations against well.
I fisted my small hands together, clasping them in order to comfort myself. I could feel his eyes observe my reaction. He chuckles, before shaking his head.
"Not only are you pathetic, but you're so sweet as well. Look at you, apologising to me for what. But, you know, that's what I like about you, Hannah. " He whispers as he gradually leans his face closer to my ducked down face before continuing. My name coming out of his mouth sent shivers down my spine.
"So sweet that it makes me wanna rip out this sweetness out from the inside of you, your organs, your heart, your blood, everything inside you with my own hands." He darkly reveals, a smirk now forming on his face, before moving the hair that's covering my face behind. He then stretches his hands out to wrap them around my neck. I heavily breathe at this, clenching my fist on the bedsheets.
