Authors POV:
Wonwoo came back with a couple of books for her to read, placing them on the table next to her bed, telling her that the books he brought were the ones he already read, so she can read whichever one of these she wants.

Then, both of them left her alone to give her space, and because Jun called them over to do some work for him, resulting her to being alone in the room.

She could finally have the time to breathe, without having any of the men surrounding her or watching her every move. She couldn't ever get used to that.

She eyed the books Wonwoo gave her, but was hesitant to read them, heck even touch them. Call her dramatic, but these are books given to her by him.

It's valid to say, that she didn't want to read books given by him, but like Mingyu mentioned, she couldn't just blankly at the ceiling long term either.

He didn't pester her, when Wonwoo came back, but she didn't know if it'd be the last time he'd ask her either.

She shrugged off her thoughts, shaking her head before convincing herself to just take one of his books, and read them. But, before her hands could reach them, the door suddenly flung open.

Revealing Choi Seungcheol. He was looking around, seeming as if he was trying to find something after going to every room, and when his eyes landed on her, he was almost surprised.

Not expecting to see her here at all. It was even more shocking to know the door was left unlocked, making him inwardly snicker at this.

'They should really level up their so called security.'

She was shocked when he locked the door behind him, before looking at her with a soft smile. A soft smile, that masked his true intentions well.

"This is a perfect time to get to know each other, don't you think?" He leans himself on the door frame, while crossing his muscular arms, that defined more of his muscles.

She gulped, remembering Hoshis words, when he was with her back at the mansion: 'Avoid any interactions with him no matter what. He's far more dangerous than Jun and Minghao combined.'

It made her not want to stay alone with this man even more. But, of course the world does not want the best for her. He blocked her only exit out.

She slowly stood up, while keeping her fearful eyes on him, then looking around to see what to do.

"What's the rush, huh? Don't test my patience, sweetheart. I have a temper." He sounded as if he was really whining, while telling her this.

"W-What do you want from me?" She gathered up the courage to speak, looking at him with clear fear evident in her eyes.
