While the various classes were diligently amassing points in the heat of the battle, there was one particular player who had chosen a different approach. Secluded and seemingly inactive, this player sat in a safe location, almost as if disconnected from the ongoing chaos. Finally stirring from his spot, the first order of business was to check the scoreboard.
Class A - 104
Class M - 24
Class I - 16
Class E - 36
Class P - 4
Remaining Time: 36:16"Forty-six eliminated... Well, I guess it's time to get moving," the player mused, emerging from his hideout. As he leaped out of the window to rejoin the fray, a glimpse of yellow, spiky fur was briefly visible.
Akio found himself walking along a road leading to a series of hangars. The closer he got, the more evident the damage became. The hangars bore scars of intense battles – burn marks, frost patches, and deep claw imprints adorned their surfaces. "Huh, so this place was... no, still is a hotspot," Akio noted to himself. His train of thought was abruptly interrupted by a subtle yet distinct noise emanating from within the hangars.
"Points, the bags that can be stolen... it must mean the phone is the crucial element in managing the points," Akio deduced, examining the phone provided to him. "It's not about staying close to the player; it's about staying close to the phone," he concluded, speaking to himself as he tucked the phone away securely.
"But it probably can't enter other spawn points," Akio mused, his hands finding their way into his pockets as he approached the hangars. He noticed an abundance of frost marks and remnants of ice, which, upon closer inspection, seemed to outnumber the other types of battle scars. This observation led him to reflect on which class might have a Pokémon known for its ice powers.
Akio pondered for a moment, trying to recall which class boasted a Pokémon known for its ice powers. "The Hakoakari clan is known for their association with snow... Ah, Gletsher from Class-A," he reasoned. "If I'm right, there should be at least two Pokémon from Class-A here – the one from the Gletsher clan and possibly a support unit?" He continued to mull over this as he ventured into one of the hangars, alert and ready for what he might find.
Abruptly, an immense burst of ice shattered through the walls. Around the corner, two Pokémon appeared, peering into the entrance. "Hah, that must've gotten him, right?" a Beartic scoffed, confident in their attack. Standing beside him, a Hypno joined in, "Probably. If not, we'll just hit him with our usual combo." The Hypno's tone was calm, suggesting a practiced ease in their teamwork.
"I'll go check," declared the Beartic, advancing towards the icy aftermath. As he neared, a kunai phased through the wall, aimed at him. The Beartic prepared to block, but to his surprise, the kunai passed harmlessly through his body. In that instant, Akio appeared right before him, fist raised for an attack. However, the Beartic reacted quickly, unleashing a barrage of ice spikes from the ground in defense.
Meanwhile, a voice suddenly spoke from behind the Hypno, "You're the main threat, right?" Startled, the Hypno whirled around to find Akio standing there. The sudden appearance of Akio left the Hypno puzzled, but realization dawned as he muttered, "The kunai-" However, his epiphany came too late to change the course of events.
"There's a technique I want to teach you, Akio," Kenshi announced, watching Akio run on the treadmill with weights strapped to his legs. "Huh?" Akio responded, caught off guard. "It's a move normally reserved for Enforcers, but I believe it could be useful for you," Kenshi elaborated, prompting Akio to halt the treadmill and give Kenshi his full attention. "It's called Supreme Strike," Kenshi began. "By channeling mana a hundredth of a second before impact, there's a fifty percent chance of tripling the power of your strike," he explained. "However, since this move isn't typically associated with elemental affinities, you could experiment to transform it into a guaranteed power boost," Kenshi suggested.
