{Wednesday, 2 months and one day before the wedding}

Every day was phone calls, venues to fix, cakes to try, dresses to tailor. God. Why do people get married?

"I love you honey-buns!" Bellamy said before hanging up the phone.

Clarke rolled her eyes, the pet-names weren't appreciated. Another thing she didn't have stomach enough to tell him. It makes him happy, so she'll leave it be, marriage is just a bunch of compromises really, isn't it.

She pulled her focus back to the seating board, sitting across her best friend, her maid of honor, her rock, her.. yeah she just really likes this woman.

"Octavia on our side, obviously, are we sure about placing Murphy this close though? He ruins my appetite". Raven said and placed the name card titled 'John Murphy' at the kids' table.

"Rae, come on. Be nice for once! You're just jealous he's my friend and you two gotta share me."

"Share? Hell no. Nobody is allowed to be better friends with you than I am."

"Now you're sounding like someone who should have her ass on the kids table". Clarke rolled her eyes back.

"Okay then, never mind, Lexa" she placed the name-card two seats away from Bellamy. "Here?"

"Yeah that's good." Clarke nodded her approval.

Right. Lexa. Clarke hadn't thought about it yet today what she actually had agreed to, but it wasn't regret forming a weight in her stomach rather than.. nervousness?

She rubbed her temples and eyes in a swift move and sighed, gladly she was with her most trusted ally, her bff, who also was her best advisor.

"Oh my god Rae I think I've made a dumb decision"

Raven looked up at her with wide, sympathetic eyes and turned her head slightly. She carefully placed a reassuring hand on Clarke's shoulder and slowly roamed up and down.

"It's okay. I'll help you if you need to back out. To be fair, I always thought you could do much better"..

"What?" Clarke looked up at her best friend, her confusion evident.

"Bellamy? You thought you made a dumb decision?"

"Oh my god no! No, not about the wedding!"

Now it was Raven who was confused, her face backed up a couple of inches and turned her head sideways the other way.

"Then what are you talking about?"

"Listen. You know Lexa?" Clarke whispered since there were other people present in the room, although she doubts they are listening. They probably tuned the girls out after Raven's rant about the breadsticks they chose for a snack.

Raven leaned in closer and nodded, "She's hard to miss. Wowza. What about her?"

"We arranged this.. thing? I guess?.. Anyways, I'm going to sleep with her, tomorrow." Clarke sounded terrified at her own words.

"A threesome!?" Raven was accidentally WAY too loud.

"Shhh!" Clarke shushed as she blushed, hard.

"Didn't think you guys had it in you."

"We're not having a threesome Rae. Just me and her.. for.. experimental purposes? I don't even know but it's happening".

Raven's mouth flew open. Clarke could tell her brain was too full of things she wanted to say, her brain was so loud you could practically hear fireworks inside her head. Finally, Raven gathered some composure and exhaled deeply before speaking.
