Laurel awoke to the sound of someone playing the guitar and singing. Getting out of bed, she walks into the living room where she her the sound coming from.
I can see her lyin' back in her satin dress
In a room where you do what you don't confess.
Laurel was going to turn around and walk away, but she couldn't.
Sundown you better take care
If I find you been creepin' 'round my back stairs.
This time she walked all the way into the living room as Nyssa sung the next verse of the song
Shes been lookin' like a Queen in a sailor's dream
And she don't always say what she really means
Sometimes I think it's a shame
When I get feelin' better when I'm feelin' no pain
Sometimes I think it's a shame
When I get feelin' better when I'm feelin' no pain
"Nyssa." Laurel called out. Nyssa stop playing the guitar and singing then turned her attention towards Laurel.
"You're up."Nyssa said, stating the obvious.
"Yeah, are you through beat me with your fist?"
"That depends, are you through trying to test my strength."
Laurel throws up her hands, "you always have to bring your machoness into this, don't you?"
"You're just jealous because I'm tougher than you." Nyssa tells the lawyer.
"You wanna go again cause we can."
"And I'll kick your ass like I did last time."
That made Laurel mad so she used all that angry inside her and charged at Nyssa like a bull.
The assassin grabbed her mid-charge and tossed her across the room like a shack of potatoes. Laurel's back hit the wall hard, knocking the wind out of the lawyer as she fell to the floor.
"I hope you've learned by now that its smatter to stay on the ground instead of getting back up and getting your ass kicked." Nyasa was expecting a wise crack from Laurel, but she didn't reply.
