Chapter 2 - Is he or is he not Jamie?

     "W-what?" Layla stutters as she responds to this information. "Rajesh and a person claiming to be the real Jamie are on the other side of that door." Larsson tells everybody. People gasp and look around in shock, Ariel the most nervous. "Th-That can't be! That's not me, that's Ariel! I'm Jamie! You can't let him in!" Ariel spoke in attempt to convince others that he was Jamie. "I told y'all this is Ariel." Leanne said smiling, gripping tighter onto her gun. "Wait wait don't be so hasty... that can't be Jamie out there, I crashed the car when Ariel was driving me and I joined Jamie and some of the others. Jamie wasn't left alone this whole time, that can't be Jamie out there... can it?" Layla spoke, growing more and more distrustful of the man she thought was 'Jamie'.

     "Wait but Jamie was left alone! When he helped Dad lock the door!" Spike pointed out. Some people nodded and murmured as they looked around. Dave proposes the question, "So how are we gonna figure out who's the real Jamie?" Leanne smirks as she speaks, "I could shoot this one in the leg and see if he confesses." "No, no. Take it from me, I don't think anybody should be shot right now." Scotty hastily said before Leanne got too trigger happy. "Well how else are we gon get the truth outta him?" Leanne asked Scotty, disappointed.

     "We could hold a trial to see who's the real Jamie." Arnold suggested. "I hope his trial is more fair than mine..." Rhonda said snarkily. Arnold sighs as Dave speaks up, "I don't know if this helps but he has a mole on his-" Layla quickly cuts him off broke he can finish his sentence, as she knows what he's about to mention (she's seen it). "AHEM!" Layla gestures towards her child Frankie, insinuating for Dave to watch his tongue. Dave clears his throat and then rephrases his sentence in a more appropriate manner. "I know for a fact that Jamie has a mole located on a certain part of his body." "Well they're identical twins so wouldn't they both have it?" Jamie's mom asks. "I don't know I guess we should check to find out. Unless we Jamie's already in here." Dave answers. "It's there! It's there! There is no need to check. I feel like that'd uh violate my human rights or something." Ariel quickly insists after taking a hint as to what body part Dave was talking about.

Leanne glares at Ariel suspectingly. "Uh... that trial idea sounds like a good fair idea. Maybe then we can get a better idea of the situation. Or even better, a better idea of who's Jamie. " Layla agrees, almost reluctantly. She had already been bamboozled by Ariel once before. Has he done it again? How could she ever trust that she wasn't being tricked again?

"Is everybody in agreement with this plan?" Arnold direction towards everybody in the bunker. "I-I think this plan is a little stupid. I mean obviously, I'm the real Jamie! No contest!" Ariel says, trying to sound confident. "Oh pipe down Ariel! You'll get busted soon 'nough." Leanne hisses at Ariel. He twitches his eye at her irritatedly. Frankie looks closer at his reaction and thinks deeply. She's now almost completely certain who's her father, or rather, who isn't her father.

"So we're going to let them both in?" Larsson asks. Arnold and a few others nod. Larsson walks over toward the sewer door, Rhonda slowly shuffling her feet closer towards the direction of the door. Larsson slowly turns the locks on the door to the unlocked position. It was almost as if she was purposefully building up the anticipation for the moment. Once she opens the door and sees Jamie wearing only a jacket, she unconsciously reacts. "Ew." Jamie squints his eyes at her for a second before walking further in, covering his exposed parts the best he can with his hands and jacket. Suddenly he sees Ariel sitting on the couch looking in his direction. Jamie comes to a full stop and forgets completely about his indecency. Layla covers Frankie's eyes. Celine looks towards her positive pregnancy test and everybody else diverts their eyes away slightly.
