Being different was the most difficult part of his life. For as long as he's been alive, he had been an outcast among society for many reasons.

His name was Izuku Midoriya, he was the son of a kind woman named Inko Midoriya, although he doesn't know who his father is.

He had been bullied for not having a quirk and was often abused by the one person he thought was his friend, only to quickly discover that wasn't the case as he revealed his true colors to him the moment he found out he was quirkless.

He was looked down on by others for that very reason, but he wasn't powerless either.

When he was six, he could see what others were dreaming about and when he turned seven, he could manipulate those dreams to whatever he want. When he turned nine he discovered that he could even turn those dreams into nightmares if he wanted to and often used those abilities to mess with others as payback for the bullying.

But despite having abilities of his own, it wasn't enough to ease the pain that he felt from the bullying and abuse, so he ran away and made his way out of Japan and travelled to America where he found a place he could call home somewhere in New York City.

He found a new home when he had been found by an eighteen year old girl named Ashley Patch. She had taken pity on the boy and allowed him to live with her.

She had helped him learn English as she found out he came from Japan, though it was hard cause he discovered he had Dyslexia and ADHD, so learning English was a challenge to him, but he was able to learn English.

He was eventually enrolled into Yancy Academy where he met his first two friends in America, Persia Jackson and Grover Understood.

He got along with them very well and often hanged out with them, although he often got strange looks for some reason from Grover and one of their teachers Mr. Brunner, like they knew something about him that he didn't know.

Right now, he was on the bus with Grover and Persia and other kids. They were heading to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to look at ancient Greek and Roman artifacts, which to him sounded interesting.

He smiled as he knew that Persia would think it was boring, but to him, he loved things like history, though that might be because he enjoyed it.

The teachers that were accompanying them were Mr Brunner and Mrs Dodds.

Mr. Brunner was their Latin teacher and was leading the field trip to the Museum, he was a middle aged man in a motorized wheelchair with thin hair and a scruffy beard, he had a frayed tweed jacket that would always smell like coffee.

He was a great teacher and pretty cool, he would tell jokes and often told stories that often revolved around Greek and Roman and would let them play games in class.

Izuku was minding his own business as he was reading a mythology book while ignoring Nancy Bobofit, a bully at their school who was a redhead kleptomaniac. She was hitting Grover in the back of his head with chunks of her peanut butter and ketchup sandwich.

Grover had always been an easy target for her. He was a scrawny cripple boy with curly brown hair and brown eyes.

Grover often cried out when he would get frustrated and had a wispy beard on his chin, so Izuku figured that he had stayed back a few grades.

Grover also had a note that excused him from doing PE for the rest of his life due to having some sort of muscular disease in his legs.

But that didn't stop him for whenever the cafeteria served enchilada, he had never seen anyone run so fast.
