Chapter 5: Welcome to Camp Half-Blood

It was morning as in the infirmary, Izuku was still laying in the bed that he had fallen asleep on.

He slowly opened his eyes as he took a moment to adjust to the brightness of the room before he fully opened his eyes.

He was still lying in the bed as he saw next to him was Persia, he also saw that the bed that he had put Grover in was now currently empty which he guessed that Grover was awake and was doing something.

He saw the girl, Annabeth walk into the room with some food as she approached him.

As she was feeding him the cubes, which to him tasted like Katsudon, she kept staring at him intensely.

Finally she spoke up "What will happen at the summer solstice?" She asked

"The summer solstice?" Izuku asked as she nods

"Yes. What's going on? What was stolen? We've only got a few weeks!" Annabeth said

Izuku frowned at that. From the sounds of it, something big was gonna happen.

"Sorry, but neither me nor Persia have heard anything about it. I only heard about the summer solstice once, and only its name, nothing else" Izuku said

Annabeth sighs in frustration as she nods "I see" She said

She then gave him the drink as he took few sips which tasted like a strawberry milkshake.

The two then heard knocking from the door as it opened to reveal Chiron as he was now in his centaur form as he entered the room, Grover was right behind him in his Satyr form as well.

"Ah Izuku, I see you're finally awake" Chiron greeted

"Hey Chiron, and Grover, good to see you're alright" Izuku said

"Yea, it's thanks to you I'm even still alive" Grover said

"Izuku, this is Annabeth Chase. She's been watching over both you and Percia" Chiron said

"I see. It's nice to meet you" Izuku said looking at Annabeth

She stared at him with a calculated expression on her face for a few minutes before she smiled.

"It's nice to meet you as well, Izuku" She said

"I have to say Izuku, it's a surprise you've been out for only a day" Chiron said

Izuku was surprised as well "Really? I've only been out for a whole day?" He asked as Chiron nods

"That's right. And Persia's still out and she hadn't been injured that much" Chiron said

"She's probably emotionally drained and hurt...especially with what happened to..." Izuku trailed off as Chiron and Grover knew what he was talking about

Deciding to change the subject Chiron spoke "I think it's time we give you an explanation" He said

"Well, lay it on me professor" Izuku joked which caused them to snicker while Chiron was amused

"Well, as you have seen, both from the museum and the night you arrived. The monsters of ancient Greece are real, and so are the gods" Chiron said

"Huh, so they're real?" Izuku muttered

"Yes. And like the stories that I've told you two, there are demigods, which is why this camp was created. This camp, Camp Half-Blood, is a camp for demigods and other children of the gods" Chiron explained

"And you think me and Persia are demigods?" Izuku asked as Chiron

"You wouldn't be able to drink that nectar or eat ambrosia if you weren't a demigod" Annabeth pointed out
