Pope grabs his hella extra camera, and we run over to this fence to see what Ward and Gavin are talking about. "Nice camera, where did you dig up that relic?" I ask sarcastically as rain falls onto my face.

"Why didn't you just use your phone?" JJ chimes in.

"Well first of all, I like my antique electronics. Second of all, it's a telephoto, it's allows me to see and imagine from far away." Pope explains as he looks around at us.

"Lord of the dorks." Kie says as she looks away.

"For definitive proof, witness payoff, we're gonna need quality glass." Pope defends himself. I roll my eyes with a smile.

"There he is!" JJ whisper shouts as he points at Ward, who's running through the rain.

"Why does he run like that?" I laugh quietly.

"Shut up." JJ snickers as he nudges my arm. "Yo- get down!" He adds as he pulls me out of view from the murderer that's in front of us.

"There's Gavin." Pope commentates. "Where you going, son of a bitch?" He mutters angrily.

"The runs get me, yall-" I start with a laugh. They run like they're in a cartoon.

"Shut up!" Kie exclaims quietly as she reaches over and covers my mouth. I shove it off quickly.

"My fault." I apologize sarcastically.

"No- No! I'm losing him! Shit! " Pope shouts, interrupting our fight. "Where's he going?" He asks.

"Hold on." JJ says before running off. He then motions for us to follow him up onto a roof.

"Hurry! Don't wanna miss anything." Kie says as we climb up a ladder. JJ grabs my hand and helps me up.

"You rolling Pope?" I ask as I look at the boy.

"Are you getting it?" Kie asks.

"Yeah, yeah I see him." Pope says as he looks into the camera. "Ward just handed Gavin something, I think it's a duffle bag." Pope says.

"Guys I think this is a payoff." JJ states.

"Gavin doesn't look happy about something- it looks like he's yelling at Ward." Pope tells us.

"Why!?" I ask, wanting to know what's happening so desperately.

"I don't know but her sure looks mad." Pope responds as he continues to look into the camera.

The two men start to fight and we start to talk over each other. "They're really going at it-" I hear JJ say.

"Wards kicking the shit outta Gavin." Pope says.

"What are they fighting over?" JJ asks.

"I don't know-" Pope states.

"What's going on?" Kie cuts him off.

"I'm tryna see." Pope says as water pelts down onto us.

"Holy shit- Ward's gotta gun." Pope says.

"I bet that's the murder weapon." Kie says. I nod in agreement as my hands start to shake in fear.

Suddenly, Ward turns around and shoots Gavin. We all gasp in shock as I collapse onto the roof. "Oh my God!" Pope pants in shock.

"Oh my God!" Kie mumbles out.

"What the hell?" Pope asks.

"No-no, no!" Kie almost cries out.
