The big demon

The emperor

We see the carriage carrying Druin begin to travel across a long wooden bridge leading towards a large fortress in the middle of a dark, spike lined chasm. Before long, it stops in front of the grand gates of the fortress, bearing a Golden symbol resembling a winged sword going through an orb in front of a pyramid. The gate opens and a small, red demon with blue hand-like hair wearing a white and gold uniform with a high collared veil fastened by a triangular golden clip.

"Guards, what is the meaning of this?! You are supposed to be patrolling the woods!" The demon yells. "Sorry, miss kikimora, but we believe we found something that might interest the emperor." One of the guards tells her. "I'll be the judge of that" she says, "let me see what it is you found." Nodding, the guard proceeds to help her see through one of the barred windows to glimpse at the large armored figure. Curious, she asks, "what is that, and where did you find it?"

Another guard says, "we saw one of the ponds glow before that thing climbed ashore. We decided it would be best for you and the emperor to see it and decide what to do with it."

"Well, it looks like you have some brains after all. Bring it to the dungeons while I inform the emperor of your findings." They nod and salute before opening the gates and entering the castle. Eventually they stopped at some stables to release the horses and brought Druin out of the carriage. They began to put restraints on Druin then a tall and buff guard and a shorter and skinnier guard dragged him towards the throne room not knowing that he had begun to return to consciousness.

After several twists and turns through the corridors, the guards stopped in front a pair of large wooden doors flanked by several dozen guards all alert and ready to protect the emperor. "Open it" said the buff guard "no you open it" replied the twiggy guard. Back and forth the two argued until the skinny guard relented and knocked three times, each knock seemingly echoing endlessly with growing dread.

After what seem forever they heard (A/N: idk how to describe belos's voice) a seemingly kind voice that hid great anger and authority telling them to enter. The pair nodded at each other before pushing open the doors and entering a large room lined with pipes and housing a giant green still-beating heart behind a large golden throne upon which sat a tall cloaked and armored figure wearing a golden mask with antlers. The figure watched the two guards drag Druin before the throne before they knelt before the figure.

"Greetings my emperor" they said "I was told you found something of interest in the woods surrounding the castle" said the cloaked emperor "yes lord Belos we found this creature by one of the lakes and thought it would best be shown to you" and forced Druin to stand up so belos could get a clear view of him. The emperor got up and circled Druin observing every little detail until finally he returned to the throne and said "he can be of use to me. Take him to the dungeons so that I can welcome him to the boiling isles."

The pair of guards nodded before dragging our friend away but as he was dragged away he couldn't help but notice how the emperor was watching him.
