The Offer

(HWAN POV)

I woke up in my bed, it's already morning..?

"When did I fall asleep...how did I get to my bed?"

I say to myself as I look around. I tried to remember what the hell happened but all I remember was bright colors.

My eyes land on the laptop. I stare at it for a good minute before I noticed it has a new logo other than the window logo that was there yesterday.

"Am I seeing shit or was that different yesterday..."

It looked like a planet, maybe a solar system of some sort? It didn't look like how solar system should thought..there was only 4 planets rotating around what looked like a sun maybe?

I slowly pick up the laptop from my night stand.

"Am going crazy..", I said as I inspected the laptop.

I open the laptop and turned it on. The account user now had my name on it, I click the space bar as it opens to the home screen it had only one file now.

"Open me? What happened to the rest of the files.." I say out loud as I stare at the screen.

I started to feel uneasy then remembered I had work. "There's no way I'm going to work..."

I look for my phone, lifting my blanket and pillow as I find it. My phone was lagging out as I call out of work "sick".

"Hey Daehyun, I'm not going in today."

"WHAT...AYE STOP CALLING ME DAEHYUN"

"I'm sick...yea uh I think I have the flu"

"What am I supposed to do now that you're not coming?! I had a party to go to tonight with the boys!"

"I don't know maybe actually WORK for once, and the 'boys' ? Since when did you have friends?"

"I'M NOT A COMPLETE LONER YOU KNOW?!"

"Yea yea anyways I'm not going in still."

"You're so annoying I hope I never see you again"

He was being overly sarcastic but I mean it's how he is naturally.

"Ok have fun working by yourself loser"

"HWA-"

I let out a small chuckle as I hung up. "He's going to be the death of me one day I swear."

I turn my attention back to the laptop as I slowly open the file once more.

"Hello Hwan Q. We've been watching you for a while now, I see that you are tired of the boring routine everyday. Slaving away for people who don't care about you or your feelings. I've seen you question why you are put on this world for, only for you to get abused by people with power. I'd like to give you an offer."

I pause as I feel chills go down my body.

"I want to give you power, I want you to control your own life. If you accept this deal I only ask for one thing. Entertainment. I want you to entertain me, I want you to control people. Each one of those planets on the back of the laptop are different universes to certain groups. I want you to make them, spy on them, keep them from finding out that they are getting control."

As I keep reading I feel eyes around me. I look around quickly and see a what looks like yellow glowing eyes staring at me. Hyperventilating, I look back at the screen as it starts glitching.

"CONTROL, DELETE, TAKE, CHALLENGE, CLONE, REPLACE, CONTROL, DELETE, TAKE, CHALLENGE, CLONE, REPLACE, CONTROL, DELETE, TAKE, CHALLENGE, CLONE, REPLACE ACCEPT TAKE CONTROL HW-!"

I shut the laptop as my eyes start to burn. I let out a groan as I get up rushing to the bathroom. I turn on the sink and splash my eyes with water.

"What is happening, it burns!"

Tears start going down my face mixed with the water I splashed on. I look up at the mirror. My eye now has the same symbol as the laptop. I start to freak out as my eye starts to change different colors.

Green. Blue. Red. Yellow. Teal. Pink. Green. Blue. Red. Yellow. Teal. Pink. Green. Blue. Red. Yellow. Teal. Pink. Green. Blue. Red. Yellow. Teal. Pink.
White.

I let out a cry, hyperventilating as I pass out on the floor.

Last thing I saw was 5 figures looking down at me.
