A/n: Okay. So. I know this doesn't seem like a love story yet. But after this chapter the fun begins. By fun I mean, feelings, answers, and more drama. Fun right? No...? Just me? Ok. This chapter is also kinda dialogue heavy.

I made it to my apartment just in time before it began pouring, similar to the day before. Not that the rain was a big issue. But a pretty big storm was supposed to be going through New York City that night.

I entered my apartment and kicked the door closed. As I sat my house keys down I noticed that Glenn had left his computer at my house on the kitchen counter. And unlocked. I made my way over to it and began sifting through the files from Kriger's database. I soon became absorbed in the screen my eyes flowing over the information. "Interesting right?" I almost jumped as a muffled voice spoke suddenly. I rolled my eyes at the brunette suddenly standing across from me. Stuffing his face with the crackers on my kitchen counter. "Glenn... What did I say about dropping by unannounced? You're making me regret giving you the spare copy of my key." He shrugged and wiped his hands on a napkin. Then he came around to the side I was standing on and pulled the computer towards him. "I just found this. Perfect for blackmail." He finished his sentence in a sing-song tone. "No blackmail Glenn." I did my best to stay true to my sister's words. "Blackmail is the worst form of revenge. What do you get out of ruining someone's reputation?" I didn't remember hearing the rest of her 'advice'. I mean, it was good advice in a way. But, it would've been better if I hadn't tuned her out as she scolded me. "Okay. No blackmail..." He sighed.

"Oh! Guess who I ran into yesterday?"

"Who...?" He raised an eyebrow. Probably expecting it to be my ex-boyfriend.

"Undies. He freed all of my hostages. He let them go free. He doesn't care about Simon's evil. He just thinks he's doing good."

"Well, what if he doesn't know?"

"Glenn... What are you suggesting?" I raised an eyebrow at his hinting tone of voice. "What if... You show him." I was somewhat intrigued. Glenn was right. I had the files. If I showed Spider-Man, ahem, Undies, the files he would surely leave my hostages alone. "You're on to something Glenn."

"Always am." We smiled at each other and began hatching a plan.

Miles's POV:
I threw my backpack onto my bed as I closed the door shut. I felt kind of okay. At least better than I had before. I felt pretty good about having given Ms. Y/n her scarf. And I made it inside before the rain started. Then I sighed in pain. I rolled up my shirt to reveal a large bruise on my side that was taking its time healing. "M'hijo?" My mom's voice called from outside of my room. I quickly pulled my shirt down as my mom opened the door. "Mom?! What if I was dressing or something?" I asked her. Feigning confusion and utter disappointment.

"Well, you weren't," Of course that's what she had to say. "Anyway. I just wanted to tell you that Peter was coming over for dinner."

"Bien ma'."

"Yep. And, maybe... Take a bath?"

"Okay." I tried not to groan before she left my room. Then I let it out. Our apartment didn't have the shower working at that moment so I had to take baths. Which I didn't want to obviously. I couldn't get in there without being haunted.

But I couldn't tell anyone. I could tell no one how my uncle died. Tell no one how Phin died. And tell no one how I got myself... In the situation I had gotten myself into. I wasn't going to take a bath. I just slapped on some fresh clothes and left my room. Still feeling that bruise.
