You can Mychael have been living together for a long time. Whenever you two are together you can't help but feel butterflies in your stomach it's a strange feeling but you also can't help but like it?
You two were having dinner together like usual nothing fancy but tasty when he noticed one of your legs shaking under the table.
"Firefly, Are you okay?"
Mychael asks. He's always so kind, caring, and empathetic which you enjoyed a lot. You look up at him from the food.
"Oh I'm good"
You reply smiling shyly while waving your hands reassuringly. He nods and continues eating, you two eat in silence but just then a 'certain image' of Mychael pops up in your mind and you blush intensely.
"Firefly, are you sure you're okay?"
You nod and your blush slowly fades away then you feel those same butterflies in your stomach.
'Damn it'
You think to yourself
'I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE I NEED TO TELL HIM'
You tell yourself in your mind.
'BUT WHAT IF HE REJECTS?!'
You doubt yourself.
'But I'll never know unless I tell him'
You sigh and then you realize Mychael was staring at you the entire time with an awkward smile.
"Mychael... I have to tell you something..."
You mutter to him and he snaps out of his trance.
"What is it?"
He smiles at you that same smile he always has on his face. You sigh and look at him
"I uhm..."
You hesitate but Mychael is patient so he waits until you're ready.
"I like you.."
You say awkwardly.
"I like you too Y/N"
He blushes and smiles
"Really?"
He nods at you and you smile back.
