Luke turned to the side seeing Chloe standing next to a curtain looking out of the window.
She turned her gaze to him, looking at him directly, with her arms are crossed."Why didn't you punch him back?" She clenched her jaw, raising a brow. "Are you that weak?"
Luke removed the tissue from his bleeding nose and looked at her bluntly. "Where you-" he got cut off.
"There? I was. But only in hope seeing someone get hurt. And luckily it happened..." She said, emphasizing the word hurt. Chloe looked at his nose smirking.
He nodded slowly. "Right...and what exactly are you doing here? Got worried?" Luke looked at smiling with his teeth.
Chloe's eye twitched by that.
She stepped in front of him making him move his head up while he still sat on the bed.
"I'd never be worried. I only wanted to see if it was bad...which it isn't. And that's boring, so I'm leaving." She gridded her teeth and turned away to leave.
"You're cruel-" he said.
She stopped on her track, still facing the door.
"Thanks." She said before closing the door behind and vanishing.
It now was Lunch and Chloe still sat in her own.
Luke starred at her a few tables away and got up before thinking. As he got up, he took his lunch and sat next to her at the table she was sitting at. Chloe wasn't looking up, instead her gaze was fixed on a book she was reading.
"What book is it that you're reading?" He said looking at her.
While Chloe wasn't responding, Luke studied her from the side.
He couldn't deny the fact that she was the most beautiful person he'd ever talked to.
"You should go back to your original spot. I'm not interested in making your..." she peaked at Joan, who was starring holes into her. "Girlfriend mad." She said.
Luke then raised a brow and followed her gaze which was fixed on Joan. "Wait you mean Joan? She's just like a sister to-"
"That's not part of my interest. Who you're with, what you like and who you are doesn't matter to me okay?" She said before closing her book and getting off her seat. He flickered his Tongue, and continues to eat the rest of his Lunch.
As Chloe walked away, Grover called out her name. Grover was a Satyr, half Man and half Goat. He had dark hair and eyes, and he his skin was tanned.
"Chloe! Chloe wait...!" He shouted behind her.
She turned to look at him in annoyance, making Him slightly flinch.
Grover lets out a nervous laugh and stayed silent for a moment.
Chloe then raised a brow waiting for him to answer. "What do you want?" She asked.
"Oh...Well you were no were to be found after you left lunch, and Luke also wasn't sure where I could find you so-" He was talking like a waterfall."Get to the point." She cuts him off.
"Right...Um...Mr. Brunner and Mr.D need to talk to you about something." He said.
"Do you know about what?" Chloe licked her lips.
"No, not at all..." he nervously chuckled.
She nodded and went to the office where both of the were apparently waiting for her.
Confused about the situation, she couldn't think of anything that they wanted to talk to her about.Chloe thought about a lot of things, like when she released electric fish into a sea where a few boys who were always making fun of her, were swimming in.
She smiled to herself at that thought.
Or maybe the time she hid a spider under a girl's pillow, just because she secretly tried switching her nail polish with a pink one to make her seem more normal.
As Chloe reached their office she first hesitated to, but then knocked.
"Come in." She heard a male voice say.
As she stepped in she closed the door behind her. "Have...Have a seat Chloe." Mr. Brunner said, looking like it's something serious. Chloe then quickly took a look at Mr.D who also seemed to be serious.
"What's this about?" She asked.
He sighed. "It's about your father Hades..."
