A/N: Although I love Briam I just know they would have been so toxic and tragic
"Yeah, can you gimme a minute Jesus," Liam let out a hushed laugh as he opened his window, the garage roof almost perfectly lined up with it. Placing his phone into his pocket he gripped onto the edge before pulling himself up, looking down he was able to land safely.
Of course, it hadn't been the first time he's snuck out, it wouldn't be the last time either. "Okay, where are you?" Liam asked looking around, his heart jumping out of his chest as Mason jumped from behind a bush. It took everything inside him not to scream, his hand shaking.
"Oh man, should of seen your face!" Mason laughed only for Liam to slam a hand over his mouth and look back at his house. Mason immediately nodded and pushed his hand off his mouth, "look what I pinched," he said waving a bottle of some kind of bourbon in the air.
"That's gonna burn," Liam laughed but either way, it gave them alcohol. They began to walk towards the road, thankfully it was dark and there were no cars around- no sign of life, "where even is this party?"
"Garett said it's at his house, his girl will be there too," Mason said not even wanting to use her name, they didn't even know her and since Garett had met her he had been nothing but a dick. "I don't like her," he stated.
Liam laughed, "we don't know her yet Mase, maybe she'll be good for him?" he suggested, trying to see the brighter side of it. But mason was a realist, he didn't see that. All he saw was some girl coming in and taking their friend away and changing him.
"No."
Liam shook his head at Mason's statement, following the map on his phone before they found her house. Thankfully it had only been a twenty-minute walk, noting crazy. They found themselves out the front, the music blaring and the scent of smoke was rich.
"Come on Li," Mason said dragging him to the side gate, Garret's family always let Garett do whatever he wanted. Considering they would be moving soon and tearing this house down, he could throw as many parties as he wanted.
"Heyy," Garett slurred upon seeing them, "there's my friends." His arm wrapped around them both as he dragged them towards the table full of drinks, "here," he laughed handing them both a drink of God knows what.
"Ah no, I'm good." Mason shook his head but Garett insisted and then a few other people began chanting at them, he shared a look of annoyance with Liam before the pair downed their drinks. "Ayeee there we go!" Garett laughed before turning his head and kissing Violet.
Mason wiped his mouth before flashing Liam a knowing look, one that spoke louder than words. "Still like her?" Mason asked ignoring the way Liam rolled his eyes as they walked towards the other table.
"I never said I liked her," Liam replied with a shrug, "I just said she might be good for him," his eyes began to trail behind Mason as his teammates walked in, including Brett. A cocky grin and loud voice caught everyone's attention, but his eyes searched for Liam's.
"Does she look good for him?" Mason asked with a slap to his arm when he caught sight of them placing pills of sorts on each other's tongues. Liam looked away, he wasn't one for drugs and he didn't feel like watching his friend do them.
"Not our problem," Liam stated trying to brush it off, turning he grabbed a can of coke and a red party cup. "Pour the bourbon," he said with a mischievous grin as he handed Mason the cup to which Mason replied by pouring a shots worth inside.
Liam met the bourbon with half a can of coke, trying to dull the burning taste he would soon experience. They repeated this process for Mason's cup, "ready?" he laughed as Mason nodded, downing their drinks they both coughed afterwards- Mason a lot more.
