Mr Farouk and mr ajayi

Chapter 6 journey

Mr Farouk arrives at the school gates waiting by the coach at 8 exactly , and only a few minutes later mr ajayi  arrives .
" hello Nathan " he smiles
" hello yusseff " he smiles back . He can feel butterflies in his stomach again .

Nathan pulls out a register from his bag and they both wait for the first lot of students to arrive .
"Hello girls " yusseff says to Tara and Darcy ( two girls from Higgs school )
" oh hello sir " Tara says

Nathan ticks their names off on the register and they run onto the bus .
After another lot of students flood onto the bus
  two boys called nick and Charlie run up to the bus holding hands . " hello Charlie " Nathan says and ticks both their names off .

Yusseff stares at their hands . Longingly looking at how care free they are . He wished he could be like that . Have a man he loved who he could feel that close to .
He eventually snaps out of it when Nathan taps his shoulder to tell him to get on the bus . He must have been zoned out for twenty minutes at least .

They sit on opposite sides of the bus in the aisle seats . So they are sort of close . Yusseff likes that .
The bus eventually sets off and they are on their way to Paris . The bus is absolutely buzzing with excited teenagers chatting about all their plans .
Hours pass and yusseff and Nathan have glanced over at eachother at least a hundred times . Both of their stomachs feel fuzzy and they just can't wait to get to Paris .

After a while Nathan stands up " half an hour left guys ! " the entire bus cheers . Even Nathan is feeling excited about arriving

Half an hour later everyone Gets off the bus and checks into the hotel and gets settled into their rooms .
Yusseff and Nathan walk up to their room knocking on everyone's door telling them that they are in room 203 if they need anything .

While Nathan and yusseff unpack they make little conversation but bump into each other a few times . " sorry " they say simultaneously. They both feel so excited but you could hardly tell at all . They are just sorting everything out in silence, neither of them know what to start a conversation about .

Yusseff keeps thinking about his sexuality. He's so confused . He feels wrapped up in his emotions and he doesn't know how to talk about it . He wants to feel close to someone . Have someone to kiss . But he just thinks about how disconnected and disgusting he is .

It's currently 2:45 pm and everyone gathers to walk into the town nearby . " be back here at 5 " yusseff continues " and for gods sake none of you get lost "
" I'm looking at you " jokes Nathan pointing at a Higgs girl called Darcy .
Everyone walks off and Nathan and yusseff are left alone .
Yusseff looks tired " I need a drink . An alcoholic drink . " he says sternly
" I don't think we should drink " Nathan replies
Yusseff crossed his arms " I need a croissant then "
Nathan laughs " come on then "
