James and Lily appeared in ruins of their home. They were both lying on the ground unconscious.
James woke up first. "Lily!" He exclaimed. "Lily, wake up."
Lily groaned as she woke up. "James?" She called.
"I'm right here, Lily." James said.
The two of them looked around them at their destroyed home. The last thing they remembered was fighting Voldemort.
All of a sudden, a realization came to them. "Harry!" "Violet!" The couple said at the same time.
"Where are they!?" Lily asked in a panic.
"Relax Lily. I'm sure they're fine." James said. "They're probably with Remus and Sirius."
"James." Lily said. "Peter betrayed us."
"I know." James said.
"Let's try to find Sirius and Remus.""How are we going to do that without our wands!" Lily said.
"I don't know, Lily." James said. "Let me just think instead of you yelling at me."
It was then, that they noticed two men standing before them. There was some familiarity between them.
Sirius and Remus didn't have a clue as to what warranted them to decide to go to their deceased friends home. They just both had a strange feeling to go. And now they realized why. But was this really James and Lily Potter? Or were they imposters. These could be Death Eaters posing as Lily and James to play a trick on them.
Realization came to James.
"Sirius? Remus?" He asked.
"James." Sirius said, going to embrace him.
"Sirius, wait." Remus said, stopping him.
"What?" Sirius asked.
Remus looked towards James.
"Prove that you're James Potter." He said.
There was only one way for James to prove he wasn't an imposter. It was impossible for anyone to replicate an animagus form. If James could transform into his animagus form, then it wouldn't be an imposter.
James turned into a stag.
Remus and Sirius gasped.
When James turned back to normal, he immediately fell to the ground in exhaustion.
"James." Lily said, attempting to help him up.
Sirius and Remus could see that they were both weak, so they rushed over to help them up.
"We need to get them out of here." Remus said to Sirius.
Sirius nodded in agreement. They took their wands out.
"12 Grimmauld Place." They both said.
The next thing, the four of them appeared in front of an apartment complex.
Sirius said the password and building began to spilt in half.
Remus and Sirius motioned for James and Lily to follow them.
"Where are we?" Lily asked.
"My family home." Sirius answered. "It's concealed between an apartment complex."
They lead the couple into an empty room.
"What the hell happened to you two?" James asked.
"Where's Violet and Harry?" Lily asked.
"I'm going to go to talk to Molly." Remus said. "You stay here with them."
Sirius nodded.
"Also, we should keep a certain redhead from knowing about this just yet." Remus added.
"There are about fifty redheads in this house." Sirius said. "You need to be more specific."
"The one who looks a lot like someone we know." Remus continued, nodding towards Lily.
Sirius nodded, understanding.
Remus figured Molly was in the kitchen and that's where he found her.
"Molly, we have a situation." He said.
"What's wrong?" Molly asked.
"Um. It's difficult to explain." Remus started. "But, Sirius and I went to Godric's Hollow tonight and we found James and Lily Potter alive."
"Come again?" Molly asked. "Aren't they dead?
"Somehow they have come back to life." Remus said. "I don't know how."
"Did you need me call for Arthur?" Molly asked. "I don't think that's necessary." Remus said. "The less people right now the better."
Molly nodded.
Just then, Cedric came into the kitchen.
"I was going to make some tea for Violet." He said.
The two adults nodded.
"What's wrong?" Cedric asked, noticing the look on their faces.
Molly and Remus looked at each other.
"Remus, what's going on?" Cedric asked.
Remus sighed. "Violet's parents have somehow come back to life." He answered.
Cedric was almost speechless. "How?" He asked.
"I don't know." Remus said.
"Are they here now?" Cedric asked.
"They're in the other room." Remus answered.
"Does Violet know?" Cedric asked.
"No. Sirius and I just brought them here." Remus replied. "I think it would best if she didn't know yet. We're trying not to put any stress on her and finding out that her parents are alive after thinking they've been dead for 14 years would be quite a shock. So, please don't tell her anything. At least not yet."
"Understood." Cedric said. He finished making the tea and headed back upstairs.
Remus turned back to Molly.
"Follow me." He said.
They walked back into the other room. Molly couldn't help gasping at the sight of Lily and James.
"James. Lily." Remus started. "This is Molly Weasley. She'll show you guys to a room."
"It's lovely to meet you both." Molly said.
The two Potters ignored the woman.
"Are Harry and Violet alright?" James asked.
"They're fine, mate." Sirius said.
"Are they alive?" Lily asked.
"They are alive." Remus replied.
"Where are they?" James asked. "Can we see them?"
"That may not be the best idea at the moment." Sirius said.
"Remus, where are our children?!" Lily demanded.
"Lily, calm down. I assure you they're both safe." Remus said. "I promise you'll get to see them soon, but right now you both are weak and exhausted and need some rest. So, let Molly show you to a room."
The couple just nodded and followed Molly upstairs.
"So, what now?" Sirius asked.
"It's late." Remus said. "We should all get some sleep. We'll deal with this in the morning."
Sirius nodded in agreement.
The two headed upstairs to their own bedrooms.
