I heard a knock on the door. I took a long drag before opening the door.
"Took you long enough." I blew the smoke in his face and coughed and wheezed. I smirked in satisfaction.
"Are you trying to damage my lungs?" He wheezed
"Stop the drama." I led him to my bed and gave him a glass of water. He gulped it down in one shot.
"So, what do you have for me?" I asked while discarding my blunt.
"El, Dad killed mom."
My jaw ticked "What else?" I gritted out.
"Emiliano knows the truth."
I took the glass out of Matteo's hands and smashed it towards the window.
"SHIT. I KNEW IT."
Matteo took out his phone "Here are the recordings."
I took his phone and looked into his eyes before breaking down into sobs.
"I don't understand. He fucked up my childhood to cover his tracks. My mental state is fucked up because of that son of a bitch. I hate him, Matt."
"I'm so sorry. He took advantage of the fact that you couldn't sleep alone because of the storm. He knew that you were gonna go to their room and find that gruesome scene." He held me tightly.
