"It's too dark. Kyu-Hwan, turn on the light." Hwan Dong-Su orders.
"Okay."
The mage lets a floating ball of light appear over the palm of his hand, letting us see dark tunnels made out of earth coming from every direction.
"What is this place?" a hunter wonders.
"Why aren't there any magic beasts?" another one wants to know.
"Beats me. All the lights were off, too." observes a third one.
"Dungeons normally have several glowing stones on the walls. Weird."
"Hee-Jin, Jin-Woo, do some dungeons not have any magic beasts?" Jin-Ho asks us.
"That's impossible. They just haven't shown up yet." I answer.
"Shh." Jin-Woo signals us to be quiet with a finger in front of his mouth.
We use our enhanced perception to listen to noise that seems to be approaching fast, but it stays far away.
"What lives in the dark in groups, and attacks when they see light?" Jin-Woo asks, probably more for himself than for me, but I answer anyway.
"Insects."
"Insects?" a hunter repeats with a louder voice.
"Are we inside of an ant-hill?" one deducts.
"Stop freaking us out, man."
The noise becomes louder as the monsters speed up in our direction, still not visible but letting the walls shake slightly. Unable to spot the monsters, the hunters start to panic, yelling together.
"Sounds like they're close."
"What's going on? Why can't I see them?"
"There are too many caverns!"
"Dong-Suk! Can you see anything from over there?"
"No, I don't see a thing!"
It's in the middle of these screams and noises that one emerges.
"Look up!" Jin-Woo warns.
"Sh*t! Above us?" Hwan Dong-Suk swears.
"Jin-Woo! Hee-Jin! Stick close to me!" Jin-Ho yells in panic, that same panic that overwhelms the room as hundreds of red insects with dangerous glowing eyes crawl out of a tunnel above our heads.
"They're here!"
"They're coming from above!"
"How many of them are there?"
"Use magic!"
"Shoot 'em down!"
"I'll aggro and draw their attention when they get down here!"
"There's too many of them!"
The hunters start organizing their group surprisingly fast, used to fighting as a group. The mage throws an explosion in the air, killing some insects that are coming through the tunnel. Hwan Dong-Suk activates a red light on his shield, catching the monster's attention with his tank skill.
"Over here!" he yells. "That's right! Over here! You damn bugs! Damage dealers! What are you waiting for?"
Two hunters armed with swords use the distraction to kill the bugs, slaying every red monster piece they can find. Next to the tank stand two other hunters, shooting arrows and magic at the insects while giving each other directions.
"Jin-Suk, 11 o'clock!"
"Dong-Suk! Watch your right!"
"Joon-Tae, Suk-Min, Kyu-Hwan! You guys take the right side!" Hwan Dong-Suk orders.
