"That's seems cool." Percy says but it doesn't seem much like it. "It is stressful, and it takes the energy out of me to transfer it to another person."

He replies with a short 'Oh' then it went silent for a minute or so. "Thank you, for today. I don't think I would've gone down there without you." I smiled as I looked at him.

He looked at me, "everyone has there fears." He says, letting out a breath. "Thank you.. for being here for me." Percy whispered, the world felt like it had gone still.

"I'm really, really glad I met you sawyer." He looked at me, and I swear my heart melted because it sure did feel like it.

I was a hopeless romantic, a girl who loved physical touch and was always doing she wasn't supposed to. Always at the beach and always in the sun.

A YEAR EARLIER

"You have been out here all day sawyer you are going to get heat stroke." Luke groaned, his body tanned as he laid on the beach.

"Apollos children cannot get heat stroke, or sunburnt unlike some." I teased, Luke's cheeks pink from the sun.

"Well you should eat." He says throwing me a container of watermelon. I took a piece and placed it into my mouth. The sweet taste filling my mouth.

"You are annoying, I don't know how you can stay out here ." Luke teased. I rolled my eyes.

Present time

"You say that like you've known me for years." I teased the boy "maybe I have." Percy says, and I remember what annabeth had said to me earlier.

"Your mother, what was she like?" I asked and I could see him smile "the best mother anyone could ever have."

"She would tell me these stories, about all different Greek gods. I guess it makes sense now." He shrugs.
