After defeat of Zoom and death of Henry Allen Barry was thinking going back but he remembers a new friend on a different earth that team flash doesn't know so after leaving a note he heads to Earth 38
Barry went to Luthor Corp to see Lena for the interview and told her who he truly is and another earth. Lena was shocked but also happy to know that Barry was smart. "Well ok Barry Allen you have a job" said Lena and Barry stood up hand out "Thank you Lena Luthor" Barry says and Lena shook it "you are welcome I will show you the other workers and they can show you where everything is" said Lena and Barry smiled and nod. Once Lena showed Barry the workers who were making equipment and scientists "everyone meet your new colleague Barry Allen" said Lena some of them said hello to Barry and Barry said hello back. After Lena left Barry went around and asked what they were doing "we are trying to see if we can help people who lost an arm or leg or if people were born that way" said one of the scientists and Barry looked at the whiteboard.
Barry told them the answers were wrong as the equipment wasn't really working but Barry fixed it then it worked which shocked the scientist and the mechanics. "It is a good thing you are here" said a woman smiling at Barry he laughed "Don't worry" Barry said and helped them then. Barry was happy to get some work so he could help Winn at his apartment. Then Lena came in "Barry can I have a word" Lena said and Barry nodded and they headed to her office. "Am I in trouble already" Barry asked and Lena giggled "No nothing bad but I saw you helping them by spotting a mistake which happens to the best of us anyway I would like it if you became a head person on scientist and project and if you have ideas please come to me first to discuss and if I approve you tell the workers and you can decide who does the work too" Said Lena "thank you Lena just in and already got a promotion" smiled Barry making her laughed again. Later on Barry got a text from Kara to congratulate him.
Weeks later Barry was enjoying work and got more money than he did as a CSI but Barry still didn't want to go back as the Flash. Barry was currently in his upgrade office when Kara entered with coffee and food "You seem happy" said Kara and Barry nodded "I am in a long time and thanks to you to your friend and all so thank you Kara Danvers so what you say have dinner with me for a thank you" Barry said smiling at Kara who smiled "I would love to Barry" said Kara and Barry looks at her "any good place to eat" asked Barry. "Oh I know a place with my favourite food" Kara tells Barry and he nods "Well ok I will come by your place say half 6" Barry says and Kara nods "Of course so I should go before you get sick of me" she joked and Barry looked at her "you never" he said and she look at him blushing and biting her bottom lip. Kara then left.

Barry went to Kara's apartment and knocked on the door and Kara opened it and Barry smiled at her and she smiled back "hey" he said and "hi" she says back.

"You look beautiful Kara" Barry says and Kara blushed "Um thanks you don't look bad" she said and the two then went to a small restaurant after Barry and Kara ordered their food the two began to talk about different things. "Do you ever like to stop being you know and have a normal life don't get me wrong it's good what you doing but sometimes you want to be selfish and have a life you don't need to wake up early when you hear something happening and you have to save the day it exhausting" Barry said and Kara understood. "It can be Barry and I would love to have a normal life ish" Kara said back and Barry smiled.
Barry and Kara got their food and drink and the two began to eat "do you have potstickers on your earth" asked Kara and Barry looked at her food "I don't think so" Barry smiled then Kara gave him a bit "You have to try it, it is delicious my first food I ever tried when I came here" Kara told him and he laughed at her excitement he tried it and eyes widen "damn that is delicious" Barry says and Kara laughed "told you" she said. Barry and Kara then went and enjoyed time together and laughed they went to a bench near the park "You know this is the first time I enjoyed spending time with someone without worry that they will get hurt or know my secret" said Kara and Barry nods "same beside you are the strongest person I know" Barry says and Kara giggled.
The two then went and watched the moon hitting on the sea "wow it's amazing" Barry said liking the scenery.

Barry then turned and looked at Kara. She turned her head and looked at Barry when they leaned in at the same time "thank you for helping me when you didn't have to you saved me from my drowning" Barry said with a whisper "I will be here for you always" Kara says in a whisper too then they closed the gap and kissed each other. Barry places a hand on her cheek as she places her two arms around his neck. After they pulled away Barry kept his hand on her cheek and looked into her eyes as she starring back "Kara Danver Zor El will you be my girlfriend" Barry asked and Kara smiled and nodded and two kissed before Barry took her back to her place before he left back to winns.
