Finding out his daughter has a boyfriend

"Hi Appa" Mila says and she runs toward her father completely forgetting to take off her shoes and backpack

"Mila come back and take off those shoes. You know we don't wear shoes in the house" I say as I take my own shoes off

Mila is 5 and has finally started preschool about 6 months ago. She's always coming home talking non stop about how her day went with her friends.

"Oops I forgot" she says running back to the foyer hurriedly taking off her shoes.

"Appa guess what" Mila says once her shoes are off and she runs to sit in her fathers lap

"What princess" Taehyung questions kissing her cheek

"Si-joon asked me to be his girlfriend" she giggles covering her face with her tiny chubby hands

Taehyung's facial expressions switched up so fast I had to physically stop myself from laughing. I take a seat opposite the duo not wanting to miss out on the action.

"Whose si-joon? And does his family have insurance?" Taehyung asks all to serious

Mila removes her hands from her face giving her father a questioning look "what's insurance?" She asks tilting her head.

"Not the point. Mila whose this Si-joon? And why am I only learning about him now?" He says looking at her

She gets off her fathers lap grabbing her juice bottle from her back pack sipping on it. "Appa its okay don't be mad. Si-joon is a gentleman and he loves me"

Taehyung looks betrayed. "Mila you're not allowed to have a boyfriend" he says

"Appa I already have a boyfriend" she says switching on her iPad.

Taehyung snatches it "Mila listen. Either you tell him that you already have a boyfriend and you can only be friends or I'll just move you to a different school" he says acting all cocky with his 5 year old daughter

"Appa you can't be my boyfriend you're Eommas boyfriend already" she says frowning at him

"Mila you use to call me your boyfriend always. All of a sudden it changes because of some Si-joon kid?" He says trying to prove a point

I'm amazed at how serious this conversation is. As if his about to loose her completely to this Si-joon kid.

"Appa you can't get mad" she whines."I'm not mad that Eomma is your girlfriend " she pouts with a frown on her face.

"First off Eomma is my wife there's a huge difference. And secondly without Eomma you wouldn't have been here." He says

"Appa you can't tell me what to do" he starts stomping

"I can I'm your Appa remember?" He smirks

She starts tearing up stomping off to her room about to bang the door close

"Don't even try it" I say looking directly at her

This makes her cry and she softly closes her room door.

"Taehyung why are you arguing with a five year old?" I ask and I make my way over to him

"Jagi this conversation was only suppose to happen once she reached teenage years. She only stopped wearing diapers like 2 minutes ago" Taehyung looks at me as if I should just magically fix the situation

I laugh at this statement "Baby its not that serious. She's 5. You're both way too dramatic" I say getting up to make sandwiches

"Baby she can't have a boyfriend. I'm her boyfriend" he says pouting at me.

"Please go and mend things with your daughter. I refuse to play middle man with the two of you" I say urging him to go talk to her

After 15minutes of him in her room I hear giggles and this brings a smile to my face

I love my dramatic little family.
