Chapter 12: Disavowal

The soul is the culmination of the body. Being the thing where the person's emotions and  energy comes from, the soul works in tandem with the body providing it with the energy it needs however, unless you're a Student or Master of the Odic Arts, you wouldn't be aware of the soul  but after getting that crystal nail stabbed into him, he became aware

Painfully aware

A black space is all we see, nothing resides in here as the empty feeling within you becomes apparent, then we see a Bluish-purple light appears and resides within the empty space this light roams around the empty space and it resided within this void for 16 years not bothered by the loneliness but, an evil pink light was now here..

There was a silence that rang in everyone's ear witnessing as Eldowin got stabbed and the boy being monstrously determined shoved the nail out of his side and held it as his eyes were wide open flickering from their normal shade of Black to purple-pink colour, his breath was quick and desperate as if he hasn't had air for in forever, "Eldowin!! It's gonna be okay! we can get you help it's gonna be okay..." But Eldowin wasn't with them, he was in his own head fighting to keep his sanity in check. His veins had a purple glow as he gripped his head in agony rolling around and that wasn't the only issue at hand here. The beast after managing to get rid of the lightning and firebrat, focused its eyes on the original target: Xay but the Investigation Front was here and 5 Millimetres thick carbon fiber steel wires started to wrap around the arms and head holding it back from trying to mutilate the other one. Jay rushes to the two he drags Xay by his shirt and gets him away from the boy as he asks in a worried tone, "What are you doing we need to help him!" "Listen, Kid, right now that boy is being Corrupted and if he doesn't make it out in control...we'll have to put him down" Xay's face has a look of disbelief, Put down Eldowin? Why? There has to be another way surely. Xay looks at the boy on the floor coughing and hyperventilating crystals forming around and on him. Eldowin was trying to get a hold of himself but he felt someone's hand grasp his head and begin to squeeze hard, as she said to the boy in his head him seeing her piercing pink eyes stare at him

"I was originally planning on Corrupting Xay but I think you'll do for now~"

After a few more moments of struggling, he tries his hardest to remain in control but eventually Eldowin's body limps and faints on the floor. Some of the Investigators and Xay look at him as they all wait for him to wake up, but this moment of distraction is enough. The Beast lets out a mighty yell as it breaks out of the Carbon Fibre wires and goes on a frenzying offense, lunging towards a few investigators and slamming its hand down upon them causing the rest of the crew to scream out in anguish for their fallen comrades but there was no time to mourn as the beast continues to rampage and destroy the buildings around it causing giant buildings to fall and the investigators have to keep their eyes off the beast as they send carbon fibre wires and catch the buildings while others begin to fire at the beast with techno-summoned weapons. The havoc caused makes Eldowin stir as Xay, who was trying to get them as far as possible, looks at him stir and says in a concerned tone, "Eldowin?" the boy seems to respond, opening his eyes Xay's look goes from hopeful to disbelief, "Don't worry, I'm fine.." Eldowin looks at him with his eyes glowing a vibrant malevolent pink with a smirk reminiscent of hers plastered on his face as he continues, "Xay" 

Xay had no time to respond as Eldowin headbutts his head staggering him and getting him to drop Eldowin but he doesn't stop, Landing on his hands he turns and kicks him repeatedly in his face before getting up and punching him sending him into a building as "Eldowin" inspects his arm in a blatant analyzation as he then comments, "Hm, thought I hit him harder than that..." His arm seems to twitch more and more and as he starts walking toward Xay he hears a familiar roar behind him blowing his hair into the wind he turns around and looks at the beast as his smirk grows into a grin as he takes his attention off Xay completely ready to fight the beast itself alone, "Alright! Maybe I'll have some fun with yo-!" Eldowin stops abruptly as all of a sudden he hears a loud {Bang!} ring through the air. A bullet flies through the air aiming for the back of Eldowin's neck but he crystalises it as the bullet shatters upon contact he looks to the person who took that shot and pierces him with his gaze as he falters as he begins to reload but after full reloading, he found Eldowin in front of him with his palm open, "Hello...and Goodbye" crystals burst from his palm obliterating his head as he falls to the ground. Eldowin wipes the blood from his hand as he looks to the other investigators and says, "Don't run now! You wanted to be here!" the veins under his eyes begin to glow an ominous purple-pink as his sclera darkens slightly his skin still evident finishing the sentence
