Val'kiera's POV
________________________________

As we arrived at the village we heard the horn blow and we saw a family of dark blue na'vi, forest na'vi. We both dove off of our ilu's and as I came up, I noticed 2 of the dark blue na'vi's that looked like teens, looking at us. I gave them both an awkward slight smile thinking that they were talking in their heads about how strange I look and weird I am, probably making up names to call me and making fun of me in there monkey brains. I realized that one was focusing on Reya ( Tsireya's nickname) and the other was looking at me. This caused me to blush a bit and when he noticed me blush,  I turned my head to not embarrass myself. Maybe they aren't making fun of me? I mean they're different too. Right?

I looked over at Tsireya and she and the other dark blue teen were staring at each other. I decided to grab her hand and drag her towards Tonowari so that we could know what's going on, and get a closer look.

When we arrived at the Metkayina clans village I looked around and realized all the differences and how hard it would be to fit in.

I got off of my ikran and walked up towards where my father was with Lo'ak beside me.

"Hey, leave it, "my father spoke as he looked towards my mother who was grabbing her bow. "Follow me," he told the rest of us.

"Tuk," my mother called.

"Be nice," both parents spoke in a low tone.

"Hey," my father said to the sea people around us with his hands up to show that he means no harm. "Easy, just be cool," he told us.

The people began to surround us and walk around us, checking us out. Me and Lo'ak both did the 'I see you' sign to 2 younger reef na'vi who looked around our age.

"What? What is that?" The shorter of the 2 aqua/teal coloured boys spoke as he tapped his friend on his lower arm, "is that supposed to be a tail?" He continued and motioned towards my tail while laughing.

I shook off the words they said as my attention got caught by a na'vi who didn't look like any of the others. My mother has spoken about ice na'vi before, but they were thought to be 'extinct'. My attention wasn't caught by that though. She was gorgeous, the way her eyes glittered in the sun, and how her light lavender hair that almost matched her eyes but was slightly lighter, some would call it a tinted white. Anyways, the way it flowed and danced to the winds curent. The way she dove off of the water creature she was riding, and the way the water dripped off of her skin as she came back up. I then realized that I was starring and that she caught me, which caused me to blush a little and then I turned around and saw that Lo'ak was starring at the girl who was beside the ice na'vi.

Me and Tsireya began to approach them as we heard Aonungs friend say, "it's too small. How are they supposed to swim? " He mentioned about the young forest na'vi's tail.

"Do not!" Reya exclaimed as she smacked him on the arm and I smirked at her actions.

"Hey," one of the teen forest na'vi said towards my sister which caused her to smile.

I glanced at the taller dark blue na'vi and noticed that he was already looking at me. I smiled at him and he smiled back which made my smile grow even wider.

We were then all cut off by Tonowari showing up and landing in the water. As he reached the sand, he and the older male forest na'vi said 'I see you', followed by the gesture. He looked at the other dark blue na'vi's, and repeated the words and gesture, followed by them copying his same gesture and words.
