'Kait I gotta tell you something' Julian suddenly said

'Yeah sure go on' I said bit confused

'so you know the World Cup final is  tomorrow right?'

'Yeah'

'We did some arrangements so you will be a mascot and walk out with us' he smiled

'You'll also watch the match from the pitch side or from the bench with other players'

To this point I'm sure my jaw has already touched the floor

'You're joking'

'Nope I'm for real' he laughed

'Ahhhhh!!!!' I squealed happily and basically jumped onto Julian to hug him

'Thank you!!!!'

He just patted my back and laughed

After I calmed down I distanced myself from Julian a bit

'sorry did I scare you- I was too excited' I laughed

'No it's okay' he smiled

After he left I happily jumped onto my bed and basically screamed into my pillow

'IM GONNA WALK OUT WITH THE ARGENTINA TEAM IN THE WORLD CUP FINAL!!!!'

I excitedly jumped around and then I decided to FaceTime Ashley

'ASHHHHH'

'KAITTTTT'

The moment I saw her face on the screen we both shouted each others' name

'So how have you been? Also congrats on entering the final!'

'You should congrats the lads not me' I laughed

'Yeah it's been fantastic but something happened few days ago'

'why?'

'I've got my first period' I groaned

'welcome to the clubbbb' she laughed

'luckily the cramps only lasted for a day, still feels weird that there's blood bleeding tho'

'A day only!? You're lucky, mine normally last for like 2-3 days and well you'll get used to it'

'hope so'

'ok you've been all smiley and jumpy the whole call what happened also' she laughed

'IM GONNA WALK OUT WITH THE PLAYERS AS A MASCOT TOMORROW!!!' I excitedly shouted

'Now I know that I'm gonna watch the final just to see you on TV' she laughed

'Wait you weren't planning to watch it!?'

'erm well about that I was thinking to watch some YouTube...' she awkwardly laughed

'Come on ashhhh it's the World Cup final! It's gonna be exciting, please watch the whole game tomorrow, for once, for me!' I pleaded

'oh my god ok stop don't beg me, I'll watch the whole game'

'YEAHHHHH'

'Who you think is gonna win?'

'Well of course I'm rooting for Argentina and hopefully them. I think it's gonna be a tight one tho, I hope history won't repeat like 2014'

'Well if you're rooting for Argentina then I'll root for them also! I know nothing about football even tho you have explained it to me thousands times' she laughed

'Thank you ash! you're the best! Also don't worry cuz I'll explain it to you again' I smiled

I changed into my 'Alvarez' no.9 jersey which Juli got for me

'I see you're ready' Julian smiled when he saw me

'Of course! Lets go!'

We got on the team bus and waited for the others -
'Boys, well I know I don't have the chance to be the person to tell you stuff about this game but what I want to say is, this is the World Cup final, you try your best on the pitch and go win the game! Get the revenge for 4 years ago! Beat French and become the world champions! I know you guys can do it!!!' I shouted

the team cheered and clapped

'You've stolen my job, I have to think of a better speech now' Leo joked

'I'm sorry' I laughed

'Nah it's okay, you know I was just joking right?'

'Yeah I know' I smiled

Julian was holding my hand and we were ready to walk out just after the show was over

We walked out of the tunnel and stepped onto the pitch

The Argentina national anthem was played

I noticed the Argentine players and fans sang it passionately

then the France national anthem was played

The French also sang it passionately

It was an awesome experience

and it was time for the mascots to go

'Good luck guys, I know you guys can do it!' I said to the guys one last time before I went to the bench

I sat next to Paulo

'how was it?' He asked

'It was fantastic!!! it's gonna be if not the best, one of the best thing that have ever happened in my life' I smiled looking at him for a second before my eyes went back to the pitch
