'Oh my god I can't believe it's already the finals week! I swear it was just the day we got the syllabus few days ago' I groaned as we started off the first day of the finals

'just chill, you've worked hard for this, don't worry.' Ashley assured me

First paper is Chinese Language, it's probably one of my best so I'm hopeful about it

'We are testing about Chinese language today... and you may start... now.' The teacher said as she looked at the timer and started the countdown

'Times up. Put down your pen and STOP writing.' 

After she collected our papers I instantly went to Ashley as we leave the classroom to go to another room for paper 2, which is Chinese writing

'What was your multiple choice answer-??'

'mine was A  A  A  B C A D C B B' she said thinking

'ok good I only have the last one different as C, that should be good'

'you might be right tho, I was debating whether it's C or B'

'yeah but the paper is easier this time no-?'

'nah it's around the same level as last time, it's just that you studied so you think it's easier' she laughed

as I try to remember all my notes for my science exam I could hear my phone ringing multiple times, catching my attention instead of the book in front of me

I wonder who is calling so late, it's 2am

yep I'm staying up to study cuz it's finals weeks already

I've recently developed a habit of staying up late to study and do my work cuz all of sudden I care about my school performance and stuff to get to the school trip

I haven't dared to let any of the lads or my parents know tho, they might scold me for it

And the lads might get suspicious on my sudden change on how I feel about my school performance

I mean it's not usual to suddenly change from someone who didn't care they got suspended for two months to someone who cared about how they did in lessons and assignments

As I joined in I see bunch of faces on the screen and they were talking about how their international camps are going stuff

'woah kait why you up so late, it's like 2 in the morning for you and you have school' Rico said

'you should get some rest instead of studying you know, it won't help if you feel tired tomorrow and miss some parts on the paper' Kevin said straight to the point

'how the fuck did you know I was studying Kev' I chuckled

'it's not hard to guess, your finals are approaching' he shrugged

'don't push yourself too hard kiddo, I'm sure you'll do just fine' Ilkay said concerned

'thanks but anyways enough about me how are you guys' I asked trying to push the topic away

'the same old you know? Title race and international breaks stuff' John said

'What do you have tomorrow?' Julian asked as I failed my attempt of not talking about my exams

'Science'

'then you should sleep even more! You need energy to think about all the theories and stuff' Scott suddenly spoke

'The Scott Carson always speaking the truth' Kyle nodded

'yeah you should go to bed' Manuel agreed

'no I need to study!' I denied
