It is 2024 but it feels like 1944. Division, hostility and hatred are still in their prime. The western world has fought many wars to prevent the very thing it has become. Perhaps it was already everything it currently is and nobody wanted to see it.
Party systems all over the globe do the very best they can to keep people divided. If you vote this way, you're transphobic, if you vote that way, you hate minorities, but the same people who slap these labels on you, make public statements about how white people are problematic and need to be contained or stopped or controlled. Is that the definition of equity? It is not. Yet equity is the very thing those people tell you that they are striving for. To be fair and just for all members of society, except of course, if you're a straight white person, then, you're the problem that society needs to distance itself from. Where has humanity heard something like that before? Oh that's, Europe in 1944. An ideology is not an idea, it is the foundation of values in which an individual holds. It is what makes the essence of a person, which is why, when you lie about supporting equity or equality, but then proceed to hate people based upon the colour of their skin, you will be judged. Not by some false God, but by other people. Some of whome, are willing to stop your hateful rhetoric by any means nessacery.
In 1944 it was Jewish people that were targeted, in 2024 it is white people. Just because you weave scars in complex patterns, doesn't make you any different to the ones who weaved them before you.
