On the bus to the Greek museum.Mary sat alone in the back of the bus as she stared out the window.30 minutes later they got to museum.The class got out the bus at walked into the museum with all the statues inside.
"What you see here,they are not fictions."says Mr.Brunner
"They are not fantasies"says Mr.Brunner
"What you see here are the truest and deepest parts of yourselves."says Mr.Brunner
"Friends,the gods,the monsters,the heroes,you see here in this room are reminders of what we're capable of."Mr.Brunner
"Now,one your worksheets,I want you to chose one subjects you see here and describe it"says Mr.Brunner
Mary pulled out her clipboard and pencil,and started walking around to see the other statues.
She made it to a statue of Perseus and saw Percy there too.
"Nice statue,right?"she asked Mary
...
"Percy do you hear me."says Mary
"Never mind"Mary said as she continued writing on her clipboard.
"Mom"says Percy loudly
"I'm right here,sweetie!Mommy's here!"teases Nancy as her friends laugh
Mary rolls her eyes as she continues writing on her worksheet.
"Mr.Jackson you learn how to control yourself"says Ms.Dobbs
"Me?"asks Percy as he points to Nancy
"Ms.Dobbs I want to say this respectfully,but he didn't do anything"says Mary
"Is this even your business,Ms.Adams."says Ms.Dobbs
"But I-i."says Mary
"Do you understand me?"asks Ms.Dobbs
"He can't help it,Mrs.Dobbs.Percy's special."says Nancy as she laughs
"That's enough!"shouted Mr.Brunner as he comes with his wheelchair
"Pay them no mind."says Mr.Brunner
"When you're ready to hear what the gods have in store for you,they'll tell you."says Mr.Brunner
"I believe in you"says Mr.Brunner
"And I believe you'll be needing this."says Mr.Brunner as he hands him a pen.
"And for you Mary a rubber band."says Mr.Brunner as she hands it to her.
"Hang on these "says Mr.Brunner
"These are mighty weapons"says Mr.Brunner as he strolls away
It's lunch and everybody goes outside.
She went to Nancy table but Nancy put her leg on the extra chair.
She went to go sit by the fountain.She sat down and took out her lunchbox.
Percy called Mary over to sit with them.
"Hi,Percy"says Mary as she smiled
"Hey,Grover"says Mary
"What are you guys talking about?"asks Mary
"Nothing,really"says Grover
She takes out her sandwich she was about to take a bite.
Until Nancy smacks her sandwich on the floor.
"That was my sandwich"says Mary
"I don't care."says Nancy
