It was Wednesday. You had texted her on Saturday, and you had been waiting since Wednesday. It wasn't like she was talking to you either, and it was giving you the impression that you had done something wrong. Was she angry at you? What had you done? Why did you even care so much? She was annoying. She was in your head. You sat there in your economics class, once again rubbing your temples in sheer irritation. Why? Why did you do this to yourself? Why did she have to approach you? Now you were doubting yourself. The class ended, and you sighed, realising that it was only 4th period and you had lunch, then one more period after this. You just wanted to go home so desperately.

Yaoyorozu: Ln

Yn: Huh?

You hadn't even realised that everyone had left, even the teacher. You had just been staring into your bag as you packed.

Yaoyorozu: You're still as spaced out as you were on Friday.

Yn: I'm sorry

You sighed and rubbed the back of your head.

Yaoyorozu: Sometimes I stay in here and do errands when I don't feel like going out to sit with everyone. Would you like to help me?

Yn: I would love that.

You gently smiled, your mind wandering away from Camie for a second. As you guys started sorting books and tucking in chairs, Yaoyorozu decided to make conversation.

Yaoyorozu: I'm sorry, Ln.

Yn: Huh?

She stopped sorting out the books and stood up straight to face you. You focused on her posture and tone as she spoke because she seemed serious.

Yaoyorozu: I know that I've been making it obvious that I like Todoroki.

Yn: Well, yeah. But why would that be a problem for me?

Yaoyorozu: Because I know you like me, Ln.

Your eyes widened for a bit as she gave you a soft but sad look. You sighed and smiled at her.

Yn: It's fine Yaoyorozu. I knew it was unlikely that anything would happen between us.

Yaoyorozu: Well that's not true...

She gently bit her lip, you knew that she was just being nice when she said that.

Yn: I like seeing you happy, I'm grateful to him for allowing me to see that.

Yaoyorozu: So what has been your issue then?

You looked down for a bit because you didn't know what your problem was. You knew who it was about but not what the actual problem was.

Yn: I don't really know Yaoyorozu. I don't understand it, so I don't want to bother you with it.

Yaoyorozu: Ln, we are friends, right?

Yn: Yeah

Yaoyorozu: So lean on me.

You sighed once again, not knowing how to voice your issues. But you told her something, something that you ended up surprising yourself with when it first emerged from your mouth.

It was the end of school, and you now understood yourself more after talking to Yaoyorozu. You understood how you felt more. But you still did not know what you did to Camie to get ignored like that. You felt someone flick your head yet ignore it. Then you felt a full fist smash into your face.

Yn: Hey!

Bakugou: Don't ignore me, you bastard!

Yn: Jeez, I'm sorry!

Camie: Oh hey guys!

Your eyes widened, waiting for what she would say next. You expected to be met with a dirty look, though you didn't know what you had done.

Camie: Hey Ln, my best friend!

Denki: Camie, go away

Camie: We are literally confirmed friends now, you idiot.

Yn: No, we aren't.

At the realisation that Camie was not angry at all, that she was acting like everything was normal and had no anger towards you, something became clear. She had just straight up ignored the text. No declining and no accepting. You had felt bad and blamed yourself for the past few days for nothing. You had stressed for nothing. Now she was looking at you with confusion like she understood nothing.

Camie: Don't be shy, Ln.

Yn: Listen, I don't like you. I want nothing to do with you. You're a...

You couldn't push yourself to say the last part. You just didn't feel comfortable saying that kind of stuff to women. Plus, technically, she hadn't done anything, so you should just make it clear that you didn't like her, but calling her that was unfair. Now, the next answer that came out of her mouth was expected.

Camie: Wow, okay. I was just being nice to you out of pity. Fuck you.

She walked away bitterly as you sighed.

Yn: Kaminari, I'm sorry.

Denki: It's fine, she'll be fine.

That's the thing, you knew she would be. She never actually had an interest in you. You were like an animal that she could pet at times to her.

Yn: Kaminari, I have a request.

Denki: Huh?

Yn: From now on, can I call you Denki, so I can start calling your sister Kaminari instead.

Denki: Okay then, I'll call you Yn from now on.

You nodded and smiled. As you departed from the other three, you were surprised that you didn't feel much better. You expected to feel more relieved, yet you didn't. Meanwhile, Bakugou stood where you and Kaminari had left him, watching you walk away. He was worried.
