Cooking up a storm

As you entered school on Monday morning, you were worried. Not only were you worried about Camie's friends who probably knew about this, but you were worried about who Bakugou had told your secrets to. As you entered his classroom, you noticed that for once, Camie wasn't there. You weren't even receiving any dirty looks. Ashido and Uraraka waved at you, and you nervously smiled and waved back. You went to sit down at your seat and sighed. You looked to your left and saw Kaminari pouting.

Yn: Oh hey... sorry about Friday.

Denki: I don't understand what her problem was. I asked her about it, and she said your story checked out.

Yn: Oh really?

Denki: Yeah, sorry she did that to you.

Yn: No need to worry.

Bakugou: Yn.

A vein bulged on your forehead as you heard that voice. You jumped out of your seat and looked behind you to see Bakugou signalling for you to come. You followed him out of the classroom, and to your surprise, Yaoyorozu was next to him.

Yn: Oh hey, Yaoyorozu

Your benevolence switched from attack to nervous as you scratched the back of your head. She gently chuckled as she had noticed you storm out of the class and saw how fast you changed when seeing her.

Bakugou: Yaoyorozu is the one I told about our conversation.

Yn: Huh?

Yaoyorozu? Bakugou had decided to tell your crush about your other crush? What kind of stupid thing to do was that?

Yn: Why would you...

Yaoyorozu: Ln, you can't assume how genuine someone is after knowing them for a week.

Yn: I'd rather just not test it. It's not like I'm doing anything to her, I just don't want to talk.

Yaoyorozu: Ln, this could work out to be such a close friendship if you give it a try.

Yn: I'm grateful for your words Yaoyorozu, you know I value your input, but I'm just not sure I'm interested in that right now.

Yaoyorozu: If you didn't know that I didn't like you back, would you have just gone through school without telling me?

Yn: Maybe, maybe not.

Yaoyorozu: Well, then you would never know.

Yn: Of course I would. You blush when you talk to Todoroki. Your eyes sparkle, and you hold your right arm with your left hand and look down.

Yaoyorozu: Oh my...

Yn: All I'm saying is, you are easier to read and are more genuine. With Camie, I wouldn't even think of trying, and quite frankly, I don't want to date her.

With that, they went back to class as they could see Aizawa entering the classroom, too.

It was lunch now, and you were bmmed. This is why you didn't want to speak about your feelings, because now that you had accepted it in you mind, you were saddened by the reality that Camie probably would never actually go for a guy like yourself, and you would never know what a girl like that was actually thinking. To her, you were probably just a test subject, just like you had once assumed. As you took a bite out of your sandwich, you felt something knock you on the back of your head, making you bite you tongue. You could taste the blood in your mouth and stood up immediately to see who had done that. It was Camie.

Yn: What are you doing?

At seeing that it wasn't a boy, who you probably would've just fought, you didn't really know how to feel or act. But you didn't have time to think, because before you knew it, she was hitting you and you couldn't do anything back. Everyone was crowding around to watch.

Yn: What's wrong with you?!

Camie: You're a piece of shit!

Her hits didn't really hurt you much and she noticed that so she started grabbing things and chucking them at you, including Kaminari's whole plate of food, Bakugou's cup of orange juice and Kirishima's spoon. Aizawa rushed out to stop her.

Aizawa: Principal's office, both of you!

Yn: What did I do?!

Aizawa: Just go!

Now you were pissed off because she had got you in trouble when you were just trying to eat your lunch. Yaoyorozu watched and looked at Bakugou, who shared her look of worry.

Now you and Camie were in the principal's office for something that you didn't do.

Nezu: Why were you fighting?

Yn: Fighting? No, I was being attacked.

Nezu: Why were you attacking him?

You looked straight at her, interested in her answer, too. She simply sighed and pouted, looking away from the both of you.

Camie: He was being a jerk.

Nezu: What did he say?

C: It's not about what he said. It's about what he didn't say.

Yn: Huh?

Both you and Nezu looked confused. While you continued to stare at her, probably for the longest time you ever had, Nezu's face turned into one of realisation.

Nezu: Oh, I understand. It must be a young couples quarrel.

Yn: Excuse me? We are not a couple.

Nezu: No need to be embarrassed. Ln, do you believe that she should be punished?

Damn it, what an annoying question. Saying yes to this would feel as bad as snitching, and snitching is an absolute no no. You sighed and leaned back in your chair, playing with your hair.

Yn: No.

Nezu smiled and nodded, standing up from his seat.

Nezu: Alright then. The two of you will spend the rest of the afternoon in here, sorting this out. I have an errand. Camie.

Camie, who had still been pouting, looked up to see what he had to say.

Nezu: Please do not chuck any of my pens or even more computers at Yn while I am gone.

Camie: Um... I think I can manage that, sir.

He nodded before leaving the room. You and Camie said nothing to each other. Both of you sat staring straight forward, cooling down from earlier.

Yn: About what I didnt say, Huh?

Camie: Yes. You know what you've been doing.

Yn: I don't. I really don't. All I wanted was to minimise conversation with you as much as possible, yet somehow, you keep on taking it weirdly.

Camie: What have I done for you not to like me?

Yn: I just don't.

Camie: That's stupid! That's childish, in fact!

Yn: Well, in that case, I have a reason.

All he had to do was look at her for her to figure out what he was talking about. She winced a bit as she looked down at the ground, recalling their first time meeting.
