Shouting

Camie remembered it clearly, and so did you. Camie liked you now because of how much you had grown and how much weight you had lost and how much deeper your voice had gotten. You were annoyed because you knew that she had probably done what she had done to you multiple times to others, and therefore, you were just another piece to the puzzle.

Camie: Can't you let that go?

Yn: It's about more than that.

Camie: What could it possibly be about?

Yn: I don't like talking to people who aren't genuine. Why would I be friends with someone like that?

Camie: I can be genuine!

Yn: Do it with someone else then.

Camie: Oh my days, you are such a baby!

You shrugged and looked away, sighing because you were done with this useless conversation. She gritted her teeth and, for the 8th time in the last week, hit you in the face. Your eyes went as wide as they could as you looked at her in disbelief.

Yn: Why do you keep doing that!

Camie: Because you won't just forgive me!

Yn: You haven't even said sorry!

Camie: I've seen you talk to so many girls that aren't genuine and be fine, so why is it me that you refuse to talk to?!

Because you liked her. Because you didn't want to get attached.

Yn: I didn't like them much either, and they only talk to me once in a while. You are like an annoying fly that keeps on buzzing around me!

Camie's face broke for a split second. You thought maybe it was over, but it wasn't as you saw her smirk for a second before saying her next line.

Camie: You really think that your precious Yaoyorozu is that genuine?

Yn: Huh?

This was a very low blow.

Camie: Every girl has some fakeness to her, and a perfect girl like that definitely talks shit.

Yn: Just because you don't know how to shut up doesn't mean that she doesn't.

Camie: Stop living in a fairy tale, Ln. She already knew you liked her, and you think she didn't tell anyone anything?

Something she had just said had given her away.

Yn: How did you know that?

Camie: I saw you two in the classroom.

Yn: Spying?

Camie: I was coming to say high to you! Because I thought we could be friends!

Yn: No, that's literally all I ask of you! Just go back to how it was before!

Yn: So you can focus on Yaoyorozu, who never really gave a fuck about you and never will give a fuck about you! That bitch isn't Cinderella you dumbass!

Silence. There was silence. Your screaming stopped. Neither of you said anything to each other. Both of you had said things to each other that you hadn't meant. The only difference between you was Camie making it clear that she wanted to be friends and you lying that you didn't want to be.

Nezu: Is everything alright?

Neither of you said anything. Nezu looked at you guys for a second before Camie looked up and reluctantly nodded.

Nezu: It is the end of the day, you may go now. Please avoid further incidents like this.

You both got up and left, going different ways without even looking at each other. There was definitely no chance of the two of you getting together.

The next day, you expected to actually be left alone by Camie now. You generally believed that she would just stop. Why were you stupid enough to believe that? As you walked into class and sat down next to Yaoyorozu and Bakugou, you felt eyes on you. You looked behind you to see Camie staring straight at you. Almost as if she was waiting for something. You wanted to scream. She just wouldn't leave you alone. You stood up, turned your seat around, and began to speak to Bakugou. But as you started, Kaminari sat down.

Yn: Hey Denki.

No reply. You received no reply.

Yn: Denki?

Denki: Not right now, Yn.

Bakugou: What's up?

Denki: Nothing, I just... can't talk to him right now.

Ah, there it was.

Bakugou: What?

S: Camie asked yo,  right?

Denki slowly nodded, and you sighed, facing the front just like Denki was.

Yn: That's fine, it's your sister, after all. It would be bad if you didn't take her side.

The whole way through this conversation, Yaoyorozu was quiet. Maybe she was feeling uncomfortable.

Yn: Are you alright, Yaoyorozu?

Yaoyorozu: Oh yeah, I'm fine, don't worry about me.

It was the end of the day, and you were walking home by yourself. You were sure your friends probably didn't want to be around all of this drama right now. You didn't even want to be. You were getting on with life, you had forgotten her, and now she had ruined your closest relationships, all because you just wanted to keep your distance. How irritating. You felt someone tap your shoulder as you were in thought. You looked back and saw the red-headed acquaintance of Camie.

Yn: Kendo?

Kendo: Hey Ln.

Yn: We've never spoken before, so what's up?

Kendo: I just wanted to say one thing... I remember when you first met her.

Your face dropped, remembering that she was one of the friends that was there. She was the one who called you cute.

Yn: Yeah...

Kendo: I just... she's changed quite a bit since then.

Yn: Why aren't people understanding this, i just want to be left alone? This friendship wouldn't work out.

Kendo: Please, Yn, she hasn't been as happy as she's been since she started talking to you.

Huh? What was she talking about? It's almost as if she was saying that you actually did have an impact on her life (that's obviously what she was saying). Was she saying that she thought about you as much as you thought about her? Kendo stepped back and sighed.

Kendo: I won't beg... that's all I wanted to say.

She lowered her head and walked away. You looked up at the sky. What was going on?

The next day was the same as yesterday. Kaminari is not talking to you. Kirishima is keeping a distance. Bakugou worried about you. Yaoyorozu is looking kind of guilty for some reason. Camie is eyeing you. But something was different, Kendo. She kept on looking at you worriedly, and you couldn't help but feel bad for her. She just wanted to help her friend. You held your head in class and went back to rubbing your temples aggressively, but this time Yaoyorozu didn't offer advice. All she did was watch you, worried about you, and feeling guilty.

After school, you didn't leave the classroom. You leaned back in your chair and sighed. Who knew girls could be this stressful? Probably everyone that came before you. You finally backed your bags and left the classroom. As you walked out of the school, you stood and watched the sunset. You sighed as you spectated the beautiful blue tone of the sky. You couldn't help but smile. You looked behind you mindlessly, then looked forward. Your eyes widened as you looked behind yourself again and saw two Hazel coloured eyes staring straight back at you. The brunette was leaned up against the wall of the building and staring at the trees. They both looked at each other, knowing that they needed to speak.
