As Camie stormed out of Principal Nezu's classroom, she had to cover her eyes to stop her tears from flowing out. What the heck was that? She didn't mean anything she had been saying. Going for Yaoyorozu was a low blow even though she did hold some anger towards her. What was so perfect about her? Why did Ln still talk to her after she rejected him? As she made her way past a classroom, she saw something at the corner of her eye. It was the girl who she had just been complaining about. She bit her lip and stormed into the classroom to Yaoyorozu's surpise.
Yaoyorozu: Oh... Camie.
Camie: What's so special about you?
Yaoyorozu: Huh?
Camie: Why does he see you as some kind goddess that he can be close with and tell anything?! What do you have that I don't?!
Yaoyorozu: Oh Camie... I'm guessing you found out.
Camie kept silent, not knowing what she was talking about, but milking this opportunity.
Yaoyorozu: Ln doesn't want to tell you that he likes you again because he thinks that you'll do the same as last time.
Camie: He likes me again?
Yaoyorozu's eyes widened as she realised that she had said too much. Way too much. Meanwhile, many things ran through Camie's mind. Instead of being happy, she was angrier.
Camie: So that bastard thinks I'm so cruel that I would mock his feelings after being the one to approach him first?
Yaoyorozu gulped as Camie eyed her down.
Camie: Yet he doesn't mind you knowing that he likes you?Huh.
Camie silently walked home in deep thought. He saw her as that horrible of a person. Someone who couldn't even accept his feelings for her? Maybe it was her. He's nowhere near as confident as he was that day he first spoke to her. That probably was her fault.
As she returned home, she went straight to Denki's room.
Denki: Hey, what was up with that today?! Why won't you leave Yn alone?!
As he shouted, she stood there silently, her nose getting stuffy as a few tears ran down her cheek. Denki silently watched as she aggressively tried to wipe them away.
Camie: Denki, please just stop talking to him for a couple of days.
Denki: Why would I do that?! You're bothering him! Unless there is something he is doing behind the scenes!
Camie: No, it's nothing like that! Please! Just for a few days, and I promise I will sort it out, just don't talk to him!
Denki: Camie!
Camie: Please just do it for me!
Denki sighed as he looked at his emotionally broken sister. He cupped his hand together and loudly exhaled before looking up at her.
Denki: You know, I don't know why you are surprised that he doesn't like you, considering the way you've treated him over the past year.
Camie: You knew?
Denki: Of course I knew it was in my own bedroom.
Camie: What are you talking about?
Denki: What are you talking about?
Camie: I asked you first!
Denki scratched the back of his head and sighed.
Denki: I'm talking about all the times he and Bakugou and Kirishima have come over, and you've just pretended they weren't there. In fact, you've spoken to Bakugou many times and ignored Yn and Kirishima.
Camie: Oh well... but...
Denk8: Listen, I'll stop talking to Yn for now because I care about your feelings and you aren't dumb. You obviously have a reason.
She nodded and left, thinking about what she had just been told. She would give Ln an ultimatum that he wouldn't know about. She wanted to push him into coming out and confessing. So that she could tell him her feelings too. That's all he needed to do, and Denki not talking to him may help that.
Two days passed, and it hadn't helped. He was so damn stubborn. On top of that, she hadn't walked away home with Kendo in a bit of time, and she always made her feel better. In fact, Kendo might've been avoiding her. Speak of the devil. As Camie left her end of the day Computer science class, she saw Kendo.
Camie: Kendo, where have you been lately?
Kendo: Sorry, I was giving you some space. You've seemed really sad.
Camie: Yeah I know... I'm gonna give up.
Kendo: Give up on what?
Camie gulped as she looked at Kendo, unknowing of the conversation Kendo shared with Ln.
Camie: Yaoyorozu accidentally told me that Ln likes me again.
Kendo's eyes widened as she heard this. She felt like her conversation with Ln was much more necessary and had more chance of working.
Kendo: So why are you sad?
Camie: I'm going to honest Kendo, I like him. I'm sad that he won't tell me he likes me. He's such a jerk for thinking that I'm not genuine enough to come to.
Kendo: Are you kidding me Camie?
Camie looked confused at Kendo's change in tone. Kendo sighed and pulled her into an empty classroom.
Kendo: Camie, a year ago you got the whole class to mock the boy when he confessed to you and you've done the same to others before. Why on earth is he a jerk for not trusting you? I barely trust you right now.
Camie gulped, surprised to scolded by Kendo for the first time. The issue was, what she was saying was true.
Camie: Yeah... I know but its been a year... I've changed.
Kendo: I know you have Camie, but it's unfair to expect him to just trust you. Be reasonable Camie.
Kendo sighed and walked away. Camie silently watched her walk away. Great. She had pissed of Ln, her brother and now her best friend. She walked out of the school and leaned against the building outside, covering her face as she looked up at the sky. She was done. She would tell Denki that he could speak to Ln again and she would just give up on him. They would just stay as two people who liked each other and never be together. As she got off the wall to start going home, she saw a figure walk out of the school, then stop. He stared at the light blue sky. No doubt about it, it was Ln, and he was now looking straight at her.
