"I am awful"
A dejected James went to his office. Only one sentence is repeating in his mind.
'I thought they- they were my friends but- I guess I was wrong'
He ignored little Flitwick who tried to talk to him and went straight to his office.
He flooed to The Potter Manor where he saw the Lupin Couple consoling a weeping and heartbroken Sirius with Peter.
Lily was the first to see James' condition. Sweat beads on his face, ragged breath, clenched fists and a dejected expression. "James! What happened?" She asked as she rushed him on a chair.
Sirius looked at him with puffy eyes and hugged him. But James didn't return the hug "Why? Why did you accuse her yet again wrongly?" James asked shocking everyone.
"How do you know Prongs?" Remus asked. "Vic came to Hogwarts and talked with Selena. She told her everything that happened today and 14 years ago. How you accused her today and that day. Sebastian only came to her house for a movie marathon but your dumb arse just ruined everything" Sirius looked at James in shock.
"No she didn't tell me I just overheard Selena and Vic" James answered everyone's silent question. "And you know Lily" He turned towards Lily, "Sh-She said she thought that after the fight we would have come and talked to her but we didn't. She said "I thought they- they were my friends but- I guess I was wrong" And we-" James didn't complete his sentence as he broke in tears.
Listening to this, a choked sob escaped Lily's lips. And a sniff was heard from Vera.
James looked at Sirius, his eyes, blood shot, "why?" He asked.

Do people ever feel like they are happy on the outside, showing people they are okay but on the inside it's the opposite of that. All you want to do is curl up in your duvet and cry to sleep. Well that is how Selena was feeling right now.
Here she was sitting with her three friends, responding to what they were saying yet not paying attention.
While swirling her bacon on her fork Selena thought of what her mother revealed to her today. What happened 14 years ago. Why little Selena didn't get the love of her father. It all seemed like her father's fault but deep down she knew that her mother was also a bit guilty for not acting like an adult and solving their mess out.
But she knew that her mother wasn't thinking straight at the time but who would when the love of their life had accused them of cheating.
Having enough of her food, even though she hasn't eaten anything, Selena stood up and made her way out of the great hall to the astronomy tower, a place where she sought comfort from her 1st year.
