Your eyes glisten with amusement as the words seep from behind his mask. "You don't even know me," You scoff, unable to hide the smile plastered across your face.

"I tried to get to know you," He leans closer, his breath escaping his own mask and tingling your ear. "But you said you'd rather not talk to me," He continues.

"So I'm giving you the option to moan for me instead."

Scotch slides down your throat, but his remark causes you to choke as you swallow.  "Somethin' I said, schatz?" His eyes lock onto your face, scanning every aspect and allowing him to see the embarrassment form across your cheeks.

Clearing your throat, you finally speak up. "Bold of you to assume I want anything from you." Your smirk elicits a dark chuckle from him as he shakes his head.

"Revenge coats your eyes," He motions towards your eyes. You blink a few times, stunned at his accusation.

Read you like a damn book.

You knew you came here for a hookup. No one goes to a bar, sulks about a man, and leaves alone. You could've easily shared the space with the recruits, yet you decided to find another place to be "alone".

"I don't know what you mean," You respond, avoiding his eye contact. "Come on, Y/N," Chills run down your spine, hearing your name roll off of his tongue like sweet honey. "I know you want to show him what he lost."

As he whispered, you saw images in your head. You predicted what König looked like underneath the mask, how he...performed. But most of all, you saw the look on Ghost's face knowing you slept with another man.

A sudden burst through the door breaks you out of your daydream. Everyone's eyes dart toward the front, including König's.  Frustration brews within your blood seeing the familiar mask.

Damn it.

"Oh, liebling," König chuckles. "Please tell me that he isn't the-" Your annoyance shows through your response. "Don't."

"Y/N!" Ghost calls out, shoving people out of his way to get to you. Your head falls to your palms in embarrassment, but that doesn't stop Ghost from causing a scene. "Y/N!"

König's chuckle turns into laughter as Ghost closed in. Everyone's eyes followed, their gazes now falling onto you. "Shut up, König. You're not helping," You snap.

He holds his hands out, slightly sitting back in his chair, ready to enjoy the interaction to come. "What do you want, Ghost?" You ask, not even bringing your attention to him.

"Look, Y/N. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said what I said," He gently grasps your shoulder. Stifled laughter can be heard from the seat next to you. König's seat.

Ghost's eyes quickly find König's. "And you are?" His tone was as arrogant as ever as he addressed König. "I'm the man that's taking your... friend home tonight."

Well, shit.

Ghost lets out a deep laugh, turning his attention back to you. "He drunk?" He points towards König, still laughing. Your face remains stoic as you keep quiet, neither denying or confirming König's subtle invitation.

"Is there a problem?" You ask Ghost, tilting your head in innocent confusion. Jealousy fills his eyes hearing your words. "Really? This guy?" He scoffs in disbelief.

"What do you care? We are teammates, remember?" You taunt, further enraging Ghost. König was now quiet, arms crossed, watching in awe.

Ghost's rolls his shoulders back, head tilting to the side, as you remind him of his hurtful words. "I shouldn't have said that," His volume was quieter, and he sounded almost embarrassed.

"You've said that twice now," You mention, your tone carrying a hinge of disappointment. "Yet, you haven't said that you didn't mean it."

His eyes close slowly, finally realizing his mistake. Truth is, he did mean it. He knows that he can't commit to anything more, but he also knew what he meant to you. And he let it go on.

Feeling the tension, König interrupts. "Wanna get out of here, Sonnenschein?" His eyes expressed concern. You look at König, then Ghost. After a deep breath, you reply.

"Yes, please."

König stands up, pressing his body in between you and Ghost. He offered you a hand, helping you come down from the bar seat. Your eyes flick towards Ghost as you grab König's hand.

You almost felt bad seeing his eyes so full of regret, but then you remembered how he made you feel. "See you in training, Ghost." You brush past him, arm intertwined with König's.

The two of you make your way outside when König stops and turns toward you. "Look, we don't have to... you know. I just thought it was a good excuse to get you out of there," He says softly.

"No," You smile. "I want to," Your tone matching his. He tilts his head before he responds. "I mean, we can just watch a movie or someth-" You interrupt him with a more serious look.

"Did you hear me? I want you."
