Of all the days I've spent with Vicenzo, today is supposed to be the one we cherish forever. Disha hands me a bouquet of white hydrangeas and peonies. "Where did you get that? I thought there were no flower shops open today?"

"I am very influential." And I am very intimidating. I stare at her until she cracks. "I took Advait mama with me. People tend to open their shops for the prime minister." To think the prime minister is doing all this now. "Thank you." She smiles at me before taking a step back to let the one woman who is the craziest today take the lead.

Even I am not as stressed as she is. "Shivangi, you need to chill."

"I cannot chill until you two are married. We had to postpone your wedding as it is, now I need it to be perfect." No she is not my wedding planner, she is just my cousin who loves me and just wants me off to my happily ever after. She fixes my veil and finally lets me turn towards the mirror.

My off the shoulder white gown stares back at me in the mirror. I've put on some weight over the year, and I kind of like it. I look healthy now. The door opens and my maid of honour walks in. Tia smiles teary eyed at me. "Why are you crying?"

"Because you will leave now. We live together, remember? I'll miss you." My sweet summer child. Shivangi shakes her head. "You don't really have to live alone."

"I can't move in with you and jiju."

"You can live with your own man."

"I have no man."

"But you can have one." Tia flicks her hand. "Too much work, to get ready then go out, find a guy, impress him, pretend like I like football, but he can't watch a romcom or chick flick. It's annoying. And on top of that to listen to them mansplain everything. Nah, I'm good."

One sister is going on two dates a week to find a nice guy, and the other one is picking them apart from the comfort of her own couch. Shivangi scowls. "Rishta aaya hai tumhare liye."
