The ski trip was honestly one of the best times I've ever had. Other than Christian they are probably my closest friends now considering I don't have much in New York. They are some of the best people I've met and I'm glad I have some industry friends now that I met by myself and not through my dad, however grateful I am to him for those. They've saved my ass on numerous occasions.

We're on the plane back and this time we're all sitting in a booth of four, chicken and salad is placed in front of us along with countless beverages. We're going to be on the plane longer this time as we're dropping Gigi and Cara off in LA for a line launch first before heading back to New York. Taylor has her phone in the centre of the table as we all huddle around to look at the photos from the weekend. I think there are upwards of 100 photos as she continues to swipe through them, favouriting the ones everyone likes to post later. A good majority of the photos have a 2014-esque bluey-yellowy filter on them which I find hilarious but also weirdly adorable. Taylor had an ungodly amount of candid shots of everyone. Even Gigi, who looks like she could never look even slightly unflattering in a photo which is a statement most of the photos are a testament to, has a select few that she would kill Taylor for if they ever saw the light of day beyond this occasion. I am the complete opposite, save for a select few every photo made me want to hide behind a scarf for the rest of my life. Usually Christian would be the only one I would be comfortable with having this kind of photos but somehow I don't mind that Taylor has them which is weird because I'm very cautious with how I am perceived by people especially people I've admired for so long. It takes quite a while to get through the photos on Taylor's phone AND also her digital camera where that filter seems to come from.

We do our own thing, for Cara that was mostly sleeping and Taylor was reading some incredibly long book I didn't get a good look at, for the rest of the way to LA. Gigi and I did start a conversation about men and sports but we didn't quite finish as she ended up having to step away to take a call from her manager. We land in LA around 11:30 having taken off just after 6 that morning as Gigi needed to be there before 2pm to get ready for the 7pm launch, Cara was only there to watch so offered to deliver Gigi some food and keep her company. Even though Cara has put a hold on modelling she still likes to dip her toe in once and again purely to spectate and especially when one of her friends will be there.

The usual goodbyes were exchanged as Cara and Gigi exited the plane. A appreciative hug for Taylor and a content hug for me.

"We gotta catch up soon yea?" Cara calls out to me as she walks towards the waiting SUV.

"Of course," I reply with a nod and a smile.

Now that's it's only Taylor and I on the plane it's seems a lot emptier. Of course Taylor's security is behind a divider wall so we're not actually alone of the plane. The empty space prompts the both of us to migrate over to the couch once we at taxiing altitude. Taylor kicks her shoes off and pulls her legs onto the couch as she takes a sip from her mug of what I think is coffee. I mirror her movement and lean into the cushions.

"Hey about finding you a manger," Taylor starts setting her mug down on the side table.

"yea?"

"My friend's kid applied for internship positions at some management companies but he doesn't particularly like the idea of working under a company so I was thinking that you could maybe hire him? It'll pay him more than the internships but you'll also get a more than capable manager and publicist for a cheaper price than the more experienced since he's only 22."

"Really?"

"Of course, you don't have to decide now I'll get you a meeting with him first if you want,"

"That would be amazing thank you Taylor,"

"it's no problem, plus I'm pretty fond of him, he's a good kid,"

"I trust your judgement,"

Taylor picks up her phone and turns towards the window, scrolling to find a number. It takes a while but eventually she's got her phone pressed to her ear as the dial tone plays. I divert my attention away from her conversation as I watch us move over the clouds. She's off the phone after 5 minutes and turns to me.

"Alright, you've got a meeting with Oliver on Wednesday," Taylor exclaims excitedly, a proud grin on her  face.

"Thanks Tay," I smile, it means a lot that she thinks of me enough to find me a manager.

"I wanna put a movie on, what you do you feel like watching?" She asks me as she reaches for the remote.

"Home alone," I reply slightly sheepish

"The first one?" she asks as she types it into the search bar, I nod in reply.

Taylor sinks back into the couch scooting closer to me and pulling a throw blanket off the arm of the couch. She spreads it over our legs as the movie starts. I love home alone, it's a classic christmas movie even though we are really only a few days into december. I take a glance around the plane and it hits me that I'm on Taylor Swift's private plane and she's sitting not even 2 inches from me. Taylor's head drops to my shoulder and I try not to tense up at the sudden contact. Now Taylor Swift is literally lying on me. I relax and sink further into the couch trying to slow my heart rate but turn my attention back to the screen. A few minutes pass and suddenly Taylor's phone starts ringing, she sighs and reaches for it, lazily glancing at the screen. When her eyes process that it's Joe calling her head immediately lifts off my shoulder and she scrambles up and steps away as she answers him. Maybe it was the warmth i'm not sure but I kind of miss the physical contact of Taylor's head on my shoulder. I try not to eavesdrop but Taylor isn't exactly talking quietly and she's only standing a few feet away from me although she is facing the wall.

"I told you that I'll be back today," she says before she pauses to listen to whatever Joe was saying.

"I know. We'll land around 5, I'll be home at 6 maybe 6:30," followed by more silence

"well that's not fair, I told you this before I left,"

"fine,"

"no, it's fine just leave it,"

"love you, bye" she says quickly sighing as she comes back over and settles back into the couch. I glance at her, I can't really read her face but she doesn't look too happy with the conversation she just had.

"Are you ok?" I ask

"Yea, I'm fine," she replies glancing at me a small smile on her face.

"Are you sure?"

"Yea, Joe's still at work at god knows where until god knows what time. It's like he thinks I'm not going to be impressed or he thinks I'm going to look down on his work. But I've told him I loved his work numerous times and it's frustrating but I'm fine"

"Oh, I'm sorry Tay, Maybe he's just a little intimidated by the scale of your work,"

"No he's just insecure and he'll project that onto me it makes me feel like shit" she says sourly. I'm not really sure what to say to that so instead I open my arms. Taylor looks confused for a second and I'm scared I've just made a fool of myself and am about to drop my arms when Taylor leans forwards and wraps her arms around me. I sigh in relief and wrap mine around her back. The movie is still going in the back ground but she hold onto me for a while. Being she close I can smell her perfume all the more. After some time she lets go whispering a quick thank you as I lean back. It surprises again when she rests her head on my shoulder but it's nice and I lean into her.

A/N: IM SO SORRY FOR ABANDONING. I've been busy but here is the next chapter I hope you enjoyed :)
