After successfully completing yet another twelve hour shift, Golden was more than ready to go home once midnight hit. She made sure to clock out, before grabbing her Stanley cup, backpack and keys.

She said her goodbyes to the nurses and the x-ray tech, before making her way out of the building. The woman watched her surroundings as she footed to her car, being that the parking lot didn't have the best lighting.

Unlocking the doors to her Iridium colored Lexus RZ using the remote, she placed her cup in the cup holder and sat her backpack in the passengers seat before getting in.

Closing the door behind her, Golden immediately started up the vehicle. She was so tired, a nice hot shower and her bed were practically calling her name at this point.

Putting the gear in reverse, she backed out of the parking spot that she was in. Golden didn't want to risk falling asleep behind the wheel, which prompted her to turn on some music. She settled on Erykah Badu, which was one of her favorite artists.

As she drove, she quietly sung along to Didn't Cha Know. Golden approached a red light, slowing the car down. Letting out a yawn, she placed her hand over her mouth.

She was hoping that the twenty five minute drive to her home would go by quickly. If it weren't for her leaving work, she wouldn't even be out at this time of night.

Out of the corner of her eye, Golden could see something on the ground in the distance. Squinting to get a better look, it seemed to be the shape of a body.

Once the light switched to green, the woman pulled over and put her hazard lights on. Unbuckling her seatbelt, Golden took it off and opened the car door.

Saying a silent prayer to herself, she hoped that this person was alive. Also hoping that they didn't try to attack her or anything of that sort. Cautiously walking over, she noticed that they had a hoodie draped over them. This prevented her from seeing their face.

One thing that she could see though, was black and blonde locs peeking out.

It was the same young male from the E.R.

None of the other patients she'd seen tonight had such a distinctive hairstyle like that, meaning it only could've been one person.

Blowing out a breath, she slowly approached him.
Leaning down, Golden began to tap him.

"Mr.Matthews?" She called out.

He stirred around for a bit, then laid still again.

Deciding to try for a second time, she tapped his shoulder slightly harder and applied more pressure with the pads of her fingers.

"K-Kyaire."

The male heard his name, and his eyes opened.
Slowly removing the hoodie from over his face, he turned to see who could've possibly been waking him up.
