"See you Monday, Mr. Anderson." Kyaire spoke to his supervisor, gathering up his things to leave. He turned off his monitor, before standing up and pushing his rolling chair underneath the desk.

"Alright. You take care, Bennett. Have a good weekend."

In the blink of an eye, it seemed as if a whole month had came and went in no time. With lots of convincing, Golden was able to get Kyaire to stay with her. She promised him that him being there wasn't bothering her any-and that truthfully-she wanted him there anyway.

Initially, he was more than adamant about leaving.
Then the realization that he'd be back on the streets hit him. Of course he didn't want that, so his best bet was to stay put.

After applying for plenty of jobs and not hearing anything or getting denied, Kyaire had unexpectedly received a call back from a surgical instrument company, who was seeking a tech support desk associate.

It was an entry level position, paying $15 an hour.
The tasks were pretty simple - all Ky really had to do was help with technical issues and walk people through setting up their computers, along with instructing them on how to reset the system.

Training was only three days long, and being that Kyaire was sharp when it came to electronics and computers, he caught on quickly.

Exiting out of the office now that it was five o' clock on the dot, Ky headed down the hall that led to the double exit doors.

He was beholden to be working now, and appreciated how laid back the job for the most part. The only thing that he was still getting adjusted to was having to sit all day. It was a little challenging for him, not being able to get up and move around freely.

Neither here nor there, it wasn't a huge issue for the male.

Kyaire stepped outside, pulling the phone that Golden had given him out of his pocket. He clicked on the Uber app, preparing to order himself a ride. Until he got his own set of wheels, this was how he got back and forth to work each day.

"Need a ride home?" The voice that spoke from behind Kyaire startled him, causing him to turn around.

There stood one of his co workers, Nevaeh, with her keys in her hand. She and Ky weren't the best of friends or anything, but they had become good acquaintances. The pair worked in the same department, and often went on their lunch breaks around the same time.

Their conversations were mainly centered around what was going on at the job, and occasionally about controversial topics or things they'd both seen on social media.

Overall, Nevaeh was a cool girl. She found herself taking a liking to Kyaire, and would subtly flirt with him from time to time.

Unfortunately for her, Ky just passed it off as her being nice. She had a generally kindhearted personality to begin with.

"Oh, um- I'm alright. I'm about to get an Uber. I know you're trying to get home yourself." He told her, turning the phone to where she could see. This wasn't her first time asking if he needed a ride. Each time, he declined. He didn't want to inconvenience her.

"Don't be silly, Kyaire. I'll take you, it's no problem.

Besides, you can save yourself some money." She smiled at him, showcasing her freshly tightened braces.

After pondering for a while, he gave in. "Hm, okay."

She nodded her head to the side, as a way of telling him to come on. Nevaeh led the way to her 2018 Toyota C-HR XLE, and unlocked the vehicle.
