Over the course of the next three days, Golden's schedule consisted of nothing but lounging around the house and getting more acquainted with Kyaire.

She was glad that he was allowing himself to become comfortable around her, as well as making an effort to hold lengthier conversations.

Golden assured him that it was okay for him to talk to her about anything, whenever he pleased.

She had gotten to know a little bit more about him, just as he'd gotten to know more about her. They'd grown fond of each other, and enjoyed one another's company.

She never would've guessed that he had a sense of humor. His quietness overshadowed his true personality, which she wished he'd show more often.

Whenever she laughed at something Kyaire said, he'd blush. It was the cutest thing. He couldn't remember a time where he'd made a lady laugh before.

Sadly, Golden's small vacation was coming to an end.
She'd be resuming her usual duties first thing in the morning.

"You know I go back to work tomorrow, right?" She asked Ky, causing his face to drop instantly.

"Yeah, I know." He said lowly. The male didn't know how he was going to survive without being around Golden for a whole twelve hours.

He'd quickly become like her second shadow, following behind her wherever she went and doing whatever she did. Overall, he just enjoyed being in her presence.

"What's the matter?" She inquired, noticing a shift in his energy.
"I don't wanna be here by myself in this huge house, for that long." He expressed with a frown, causing her to laugh briefly.

"I know, I'm sorry," Golden pouted. "Trust me, If I could stay home again I would." She sighed.

Suddenly, her phone began to ring. Picking it up, Golden looked at the Caller ID before pressing the answer button. She placed the device up to her ear, then spoke.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Ms. Golden. Listen, I know I was supposed to come do some yard work for you today but I won't be able to." Mr. Fred, her usual yard man, said.

"Are you serious? This is the third time in a row, I-"

"I'm sorry. If I could, I would but my lawn mower gave out on me and business has been slow. I don't even have the gas to drive to you." He informed her.

She sighed, "Okay, well thanks for letting me know. I hope you can get your mower fixed."

"No problem and I hope so too. If I do, I'll let you know. Talk to you soon."

"Okay, bye-bye."

After the short lived phone call, Golden hung up and groaned in annoyance as she threw her head back.

"What's wrong?" Ky inquired.

"That was my yard man. He was supposed to come over here weeks ago, but it seems like something always pops up. I need my grass cut, my bushes trimmed, and a few branches chopped down from that tree near the fence." She rambled.

Golden not only liked to keep up with her own appearance, but the appearance of her house as well.

The grass was damn near touching her knees at this point, which was unacceptable. She liked for everything to be neat and in order.

"T'll do it for you." Ky offered after a few seconds, to which Golden shot him a look.

"No." She shook her head.
