Taehyung being excited is an understatement. The moment Yoonji was brought back to them and the Lee's leaving once they sealed the deal, he immediately drove off to Busan, along with Jimin and Namjoon.
He had to pick up some take out for them to eat along the way because he can't wait to see his husband anymore, as with the other alphas. Junpyo and Hoseok stayed for Yoonji and the pack, and to welcome back their pack members who are en route back to the pack, led by Taeho and their guards.
As soon as they parked, he immediately jumped out of their truck, but to his dismay, his husband was not there, waiting for him to arrive.
"You could at least pretend you are happy to see me, re you too disappointed Tiger?" their grandfather teased.
"You know that's not true Harabeoji." He hugged him. "I just thought my husband would be here when I arrive." He tried looking around to catch sight of his Jagiya.
"He went out to buy the cake he was craving and wanted to have them ready for you too. It is his favorite and it was not his fault you came earlier than what we thought, should have figured." He chuckled. "Jin and Ji-eun were with him and some guards. How are you Namjoon?" He looked at the other Alpha.
"I am doing good, Harabeoji. I miss my mate and daughter though. Did my princess give you a hard time?"
"Oh no, that little one is a joy. She lightened up our home and made friends with my other grandchildren."
"That's good to know about Harabeoji." He smiled, both dimples showing. "I missed them so much. It's the longest that I haven't been with them." He sighed. The older alpha patted his back as a sign of understanding.
"Taehyungie, Namjoonie." their grandmother joined the three alphas. "Come and give your old lady a hug. And who are the Alphas to deny? "Your husbands will be back soon, why don't you come inside and try the japchae I was cooking. A little bunny told me it was your favorite." She looked at Taehyung.
"Oh, how sweet that little bunny is." Taehyung smiled brightly at that. "Lead the way Halme."
Half an hour has passed and Jungkook has not come back yet and Taehyung started to feel uneasy. "He will be home soon Tae, and he will not be happy if he knew you didn't eat the food he asked me to cook for you."
"Try it Tae, it is really good." Namjoon pushed. "You won't want to see your mate sad after those days of being apart, won't you?"
With the thought of his beautiful husband being sad, the alpha immediately dug into the Japchae that was served to him. "Thank you for the food." He took a bite and was not able to hold the moan that left his mouth.
"Glad you liked it." Grandma Jeon smiled.
"I love it, Halmeoni, Jungkook's is better though." He teased her . The elder immediately reached for the plate, but Taehyung was faster and slurped the noodles so fast.
"For someone who says my grandson's japchae is better, who I taught myself for your information, you cleaned your plate so fast." she huffed.
'Where is it in 'I love it', don't you understand Halme?' He smiled. "I only said Jungkook's was better. One more serving please."
"You are lucky I love you." She put some more on his plate.
"And I love you too."
♥️♠️♥️
A cup of coffee on one hand, Taehyung was sitting on one of the garden swings in the front lawn of the Jeons as the elder Jeons sat quietly on the bench near him. Worrying was the last thing he wanted, but he couldn't help it.
