GO FOLLOW THEM THEYRE SO NICE!! >:3
Ash was in the new apartment he had just bought. It was pretty and spacious, plus you had a good eye on the enemy.
When he first got it, he had tested the beds and they seemed comfortable enough for Eiji to be happy to sleep in. Turns out he was right, thankfully.
The man wasn't complicated but Ash always wanted the best for him. Would do anything for him. Je would give up everything for him. He would die for him. Just for Eiji.
The sun was setting and it's oranges and yellow hues were lighting the dim room.
As Ash was about to turn around and leave the room, Eiji entered wearing his light blue pyjamas.
"Oh Ash" he said happily with a smile on his face. Ash didn't know how that boy was almost always smiling, even when the danger was just next door.
"Eiji" Ash simply answered. His eyes trailed down his body as he saw that he hadn't buttoned up his shirt correctly, he had accidentally skipped one and it messed everything else up.
Eiji seemed to understand what Ash was thinking and smiled. "I know, I buttoned it up badly but don't worry I'll-"
He was cut off as Ash took his arm and brought him forward, unbuttoning his shirt for him.
Eiji couldn't resist the blush rising up his cheeks and chest as Ash's slim hands caressed his skin ever so softly.
Ash saw how red he was under his pyjama and asked "are you alright?"
Eiji simply nodded and one look from Ash told him he knew that Eiji was flustered.
"S-sorry I don't really get touched here by anyone else but me" he mumbled out.
Ash cocked one eyebrow. "As in?"
Eiji blushed a deeper shade of red as he explained. "Well when I shower and put on my clothes-"
Ash had pressed a finger to Eiji's lips. "I know what you meant I just wanted to see how you reacted" he said lowly. "That reminds me Eiji," he started.
"Yes..?" Eiji answered not looking into Ash's eyes.
"What did you think of our first kiss?"
Eiji's eyes widened in shock as he stammered to get something out of his mouth.
Ash had a small subtle smile on his face. "You don't have to lie to me, I like your honesty."
Eiji's mouthed dropped a bit as he looked at Ash in shock; had he just said that!?
"Yes, I did" Eiji replied truthfully. "I was surprised at first but it turns out it was pleasant being kissed by you, not weird or anything."
He looked up in the icy blue eyes of the man standing in front of him. "I'm assuming you felt nothing but the need for me to accomplish what you asked, right?"
Ash looked at him with confusion in his eyes then closed them, taking a few seconds to think before he opened them once again and passed his hand through the raven's hair.
"I can't believe you to be this dumb, big brother."
Eiji chuckles quietly before saying; "it's good that you respect your elders but don't call me big brother anymore please."
Ash who had just finished buttoning his shirt looked at him intensely with a wondering look. "Why?"
Ash had already made all possible hypothesises but there was one he was unsure about, well atleast that's what his...heart-surprisingly, was saying.
The words 'listen to your heart, not mind' came ringing into his head. No one had ever told him that before yet he felt like he heard it everywhere.
Maybe I should listen to my heart for once Ash thought but he was cut off as Eiji was answering his previous question.
"Because I don't want to be only an older brother to you."
Ash looked into the dark ones of the shorter male. "Or is it just because you want to be more than that?"
There was a silence in the room-not an awkward one, more like one that's very comfortable you don't wanna break it.
But Eiji had to, he had to tell Ash what he felt. "I do."
A rosy pink appeared on Ash's face, and it was the first time Eiji had seen him blush. " Are you blushing?" The raven asked, knowing the exact answer and the response he was going to get.
"Don't sugarcoat it."
With that Ash leaned in and softly rocked Eiji's lips before the older man wrapped his hands around the blonde's neck and started kissing him passionately.
Ash slowly closed his eyes and relaxed against Eiji before he began kissing him back and resting his hand on his shoulders.
Eiji pulled away to breathe after about only 10 seconds, panting.
"I never knew" Eiji took in two breaths. "That kissing Simone would be so exhausting."
Ash smiled softly."Don't worry Eiji, you'll get a lot more practice in the future to build up your stamina."
Eiji's jaw dropped in shock at the straw blonde's words, but before he could even speak Ash wished him.
"Go to sleep, I'll be out for a while but don't you worry" he leaned in to kiss the Japanese boy's forehead. "Goodnight."
"Goodnight" Eiji answered, still slightly flustered from before and what had just happened.
Ash walked out the apartment doors and locked it behind him; whether or not he was going to enjoy the mission, Eiji was here for him.
Eiji was laying down in bed, tasting and turning. He couldn't sleep but Ash had said it himself that he would be back soon, so Eiji stayed awake by staring at the ceilings. Whether he fell asleep or not, Ash would come home.
And as they both closed their eyes and took in the deep breaths they thought;
I'm in love with that boy and I'll do anything to keep him safe.
a/n hello! This was my very first request so I hope I did well. It's been some time since I've watched Banana Fish so I tried my best to remember their characters and if I wasn't too out-of-context. It was short but I hope you enjoyed it @YaLocalFanFicAddict !!
