chapter 12

olivia's pov

"He was so staring at you, Livy!"
Mckenna whispered in my ear as we entered his house.
"Hi! I'm Brady's mom, Diane, can I just say you are beautiful!"
Brady's mom told me hugging me.
"You're really too sweet, Mrs. Noon."
I told her.
"Oh honey please, you can just call me Diane! And honey, if you ever need some embarrassing details about Brady, I got you."
She said pointing to the bookshelves of family photos. 
"We got you."
I'm guessing who is Brady's dad said.
"I'm Patrick, by the way, I'm Brady and Connor's dad."
I laughed lightly as Brady took my hand.
"Ignore that, um mom.. dad."
Brady told me then taking his focus to his parents as Connor snickered behind him.
"Sorry! I'll get back to making dinner, you kids have fun."
She told us walking back to the kitchen.
"But not too much, Brady!"
His dad shouted walking away but turning to wink at Brady, as Brady rolled his eyes.
"Sorry about them..."
Brady trailed off.
"It's fine Bray, really. I mean come on, remember when you met my dad?"
I joked, lightly pointing punching his arm as he laughed.
"Yeah, trust me."
Brady joked back,
My eyes turned to  a very pretty blonde girl, she looked a little bit like Brady.
"Hi! I'm Maddison! I'm Brady and Connor's older sister, just to let you know, I'm the whole reason why Layla and Connor are even dating"
She told me as Connor threw his hands in the air.
"I asked her out!"
Connor defended.
"I had to make you!"
Maddison laughed.
"Well I'm making Brad-"
Connor started but Layla stomped on his foot and Brady punched his arm.
"Nothing!"
Brady covered while Mason and Walker were trying to stop their laughs.  I looked around confused.
"Ignore them, they're all stupid."
Layla told me while Maddison nodded and Mckenna joined.
"Yeah imagine living with it."
Maddison told us.
"Hey! I practically do!"
Layla defended, throwing her hands up in the air defensively.

After we had dinner, and I got to actually really know Brady's family, we all went down to the basement to watch the movies that Brady had set out.
"So remember when Mason said that we should watch all of our movies? Well I picked out the most popular ones"
Brady asked.
"Oh god, Bray you didn't!"
I gasped.
"Oh yes I did, Livy."
Brady said picking up all the movies.
"We have, The Black Phone, The Adam Project, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Scream 6, and The Family Switch."
Brady announced.
"So, what first?"
Mason asked all of us.
"I say horror movies first."
Walker suggested.
"Okay, so which one first?"
Brady asked me and Mason.
"Don't you die?"
Mason asked me.
"Yeah, you live don't you?"
I asked him as he nodded his head yes.
"I say Black Phone first, then Scream."
I told Brady. He nodded and started the movie as he sat down on the couch next to me.

We were about halfway through the movie and I leaned my head on Brady's shoulder but I felt him tense up.
"Bray? Are you okay?"
I whispered to him since everyone was still watching the movie.
"Yeah- yeah no I'm fine."
Brady sort of stuttered.  I felt him relax his shoulders though and he threw his arm over my shoulders. 
During the movie Mason was telling us all about the filming process and how it was on set and easter eggs in the scenes all the way up until the movie ended.
"Okay.. thank you Mason. Anyways before we start the next movie. Brady! Didn't you promise your fans something?"
Walker asked putting Brady on the spot, I turned to look at him.  He was giving Walker, the death stare.
"What did you promise, Brady?"
Mckenna asked.
"I might have told them that I might be able to get you guys on the stream."
Brady told us scratching the back of his neck.
"Sure, I mean, me and Kenna don't play but we can talk to them on the stream."
I suggested and Mckenna nodded her head.
"Okay well we'll go get that set up then."
Mason said dragging Brady by the arm upstairs with Walker and Connor behind them.

"Okay guys! So now that we're with the girls, we thought we should do a q&a and let you guys ask all your questions, just don't ask about the movie because we can't tell you guys anything that's not in the trailer."
Mason said setting up the camera then sitting down with the rest of us.
"And let the questions come on in!"
Walker announced making us laugh.
"Okay... we got one for Mckenna."
Mason said as Mckenna moved closer to see the question he had pinned.
"Did you organically audition for August?"
Mckenna read aloud.
"Oh no, no I didn't, I actually auditioned for Inez but then I got a callback for August and here we are."
She explained laughing at the memory.
"Oh next one's yours Olivia, 'how many boyfriends have you had?'"
Mason said as he read the question aloud .
"U-uh okay, straight to the relationship questions.. one.  Asher Angel is the only guy I've dated."
I said as the comments went off.  In the camera I could see Brady clenching his jaw at Asher's name.
"Hey, are you okay?"
I whispered into his ear.  He just nodded,  not be satisfied with that answer, I gently pulled his arm so he would look at me.
"Bray.. don't lie to me, please."
I whispered to him as he finally made eye contact with me.
"I'm okay Livy, seriously, you don't need to worry about me."
He said still not breaking the eye contact until Mason cleared his throat.
"Guys.. we still got a live going on."
Mason said awkwardly.
"Right, sorry... next one's for you Walker. 'Do you still talk to Ryan Reynolds after filming?'"
I read.
"Uh yeah, once you have Ryan Reynolds in your contacts, you never let it go man.  Sometimes I just text him that I ate Mac and Cheese just to annoy him."
Walker joked.
"And yes he does reply."
Walker added showing his contact, covering the number.
"Of course you would."
I joked to him as he feigned a hurt expression.
"Whatever Olivia! Next question's yours."
Walker said sassily.
"Okay... 'Do you want there to be a movie about your character Gwen Stacy, in Spiderman no way home, in her origin story, and who would play your Peter Parker.'"
Mason read. Finally a question that doesn't have to do with who I'm dating or who I've dated.
"Yes! I would honestly do anything to be in that suit again! I would love to go more in depth of Gwen's character, and also I think Brady, I think you would do really good at it."
I explain as I turned towards Brady as I put my head on his shoulder and he laid his on my head.  The comments went insane.
"See why we post them so much?"
Mckenna said gesturing toward us.
"Shut up Kenna!"
I laughed.
"You love me!"
She teased. I just rolled my eyes at her.
We answered more questions, laughed, joked, and just had fun in general.
"Okay just a few more questions and then we have to end the stream."
Brady said to the stream.
"Okay Olivia, you got another, it says, well maybe we shouldn't read this one.."
Mason trailed off showing me the comment.
'Answer honestly what happened between you and Milo?'
I read it to myself in my head.
"It's fine Mason."
I told him.
"Milo and I haven't been friends for a while. Things happen and so that was it, nothing crazy, we just drifted apart and Milo changed and I didn't want what he wanted to happen in our friendship, that's it."
I explained as I could feel Brady staring daggers at me.
"Okay, enough of Milo, I think we should uh leave the stream at that. Right guys?"
Brady asked. He seemed the same as he was at the party.
"Uh yeah man."
Mason said as Walker nodded.
"Okay, bye guys!"
I waved trying to seem happy but I was worried, Brady's been different.
Brady ended the live and went silent.
"Well be right back guys, go ahead and start the movie."
I said giving the remote to Mckenna.
"Everything okay?"
Mckenna whispered.
"Hopefully."
I scoffed. I got up and took Brady by the hand dragging him upstairs.

We stepped outside as he stood in front of me. I crossed my arms over my chest.
"What is up with you?"
I asked accusingly.
"It's nothing, Olivia."
Brady said plainly. 'Olivia' damn that hurt. Maybe I read him wrong. I thought Brady liked me and now he's mad at me.
"Brady please! Please don't just stand there and just lie to me! I know you!"
I practically begged him.
"Why do you care?"
Brady snapped.
"Brady?! Why would I care?! I care because I like you! God! How stupid do you have to be?!"
I yelled at him. I didn't realize what I said until I noticed how he froze.
"You like me?"
Brady asked softly.
"Of course I do, you idiot!"
I told him frustrated.
I watched how Brady looked in my eyes then down to my lips.
"I like you too."
Brady whispered reaching down to lift my chin to face him.
"Like a lot."
Brady added as he connected our lips. Those sparks, they're back. I reached my hands up to his hair as his hands went around my waist, pulling me closer to him till there was no room between us. This kiss. It was magical.
Soon enough we had to pull apart for air sadly. Brady smiled down at me.
"You like me!"
Brady teased.
"Yeah yeah, you like me too."
I teased back.
Brady just kissed me again.
"So what does this make us?"
Brady asked gesturing between us.
"Depends. What do you want this to be?"
I asked him teasingly.
"Be my girlfriend?"
Brady asked.
"I never thought you'd ask."
I smirked up at him, smashing my lips onto his and he quickly returned kiss.
"Well then I'll ask you out more if that's the reaction."
Brady smirked down at me.
"You make me so happy, Brady Noon."
I smiled up at him.
"You make me more happy, Olivia Blunt."
He kissed my cheek as he took my hand and we went back downstairs with the others.
They were all smirking at us. Oh god they knew.
"Have fun?"
Connor said smirking at us.
"Well.. You got what you wanted. We're dating."
Brady announced.
"YES!"
Mason,Walker, and Connor shouted.
The girls came over to us and pulled me away from him hugging me as we all laughed.
"But! We don't want to tell the media yet."
Brady told everyone.
"That means Kenna.  Refrain from the posts."
I scolded jokingly.
"Fine! At least my favorite couple are finally a couple!"
Mckenna laughed.
"So when are you guys gonna tell anyone about it."
Connor asked.
"When the time is right."
Brady said pulling me close to him.
