Chapter 6: The Mishap

"Okay, so this situation wasn't nearly as bad as Helen or Maxine made it out to be. It had its good points, and it was a great way for them to relax after a long day. Face it, class is boring. Part of the college experience is spending time with friends, and that group was an excellent resource for that. What were they expected to do? Just go to class and do homework like Helen suggested? What kind of life would that be? That's why colleges have clubs and extracurriculars. They could have been out partying and doing drugs, so just hanging out in a basement practice room is pretty tame. So since the other two have resorted to sucking every last bit of joy out of the situation, I'll be telling you about all the fun parts.

So, imagine. Four hot people in a room. Some hotter than others. Anyway.

Carli and Saige would have been so cute together! Carli had golden retriever energy, and Saige had black cat energy. Carli always dressed in pastels and Saige wore dark colors. They even met in Saige's room one time! Need I say more?

Okay, so the vibes of that basement. It was really kind of creepy. Once you got into a classroom or practice room it wasn't as bad, but the hallways were like something out of someone's own personal hell. There was this old, yellow painted concrete that had only gotten worse with age, and the building tended to make these weird noises as it settled. So it definitely had the spooky vibes, particularly when someone had to take a trip to the bathroom, so most of the time they traveled in groups.

Since they were theatre people, there was also a lot of singing of musical theatre songs. I'd also like to add that Carli and Saige ended up singing a lot of love songs with and to each other by the way. Harmonizing and everything. All four of them tended to know different kinds of shows, so they ended up introducing each other to a lot of new stuff. Brooke didn't know Seasons of Love and Margaret would usually get distracted before the end of the song, but anyway.

But Margaret did have these really cool black and white tattoos all over her arms. Saige had noticed her using Sharpies to color them in, and gifted her some skin-safe markers at the party. Margaret really liked them, and she let everyone use her as a giant coloring book after they all had some cake.

Also, wouldn't it have been cool if Carli had been 'Hermia' in A Midsummer Night's Dream? Or 'Demetrius?' There was a big love square happening in the play anyway, who's to say 'Hermia' and 'Helena' couldn't have ended up together? Kinda hot. Or maybe Carli could have been 'Titania.' And who's to say that 'Bianca' wasn't in love with a lonely, poor peasant girl in The Taming of the Shrew? Nothing wrong with a little gay romance.

And that kiss on the hand! Who needs a prince charming when you have a purple-haired princess? They made Saige wear wigs for the shows, but she just looked really pretty with purple hair. Damn!"
