While they were waiting Viraj rushed to them hearing the news. They waited tensly, while the doctor treated Varun.

They surrounded the doctor when he came outside. "He has a minor fracture on his right wrist. He became unconscious because of the hit when he fell. There's nothing to worry. You can see him after we shift him into a room."

"But he will have to stay for the night, in observation." He said before leaving.

Guys sighed in relief hearing the news. Nivi sat on the chair crying. She was relived hearing that Varun was safe. Or she didn't know what she would have done.

"Darling he is fine. Stop crying ra." Viraj said sitting next to her putting his hand around her shoulder.

"That idiot risked his life to save me. I will kill him. I would have died of guilt if something were have happened to him." She said crying hard.

"Ofcourse that is what he had to do Nivi. We too would have done the same thing. If it comes to us or you, its definitely you Nivi." He said softly.

She cried harder mumbling a small shut up.

Viraj looked at Vivaan who was standing infront of them. He sighed and kneeled infront of her.

He took her palms into his and squeezed them lightly, that made her look at him.

"Don't feel guilty about it Nivi ma. I am actually glad that nothing happened to you. He knew what he was doing ma." Vivaan said softly looking at her.

"I will kill you guys, if this ever repeats, I am telling you." She said glaring at both of them.

"You can't baby. And you know we won't listen to you." Mittu said that made her sigh, still tears leaked from her eyes.

They waited for somemore time for Varun to be shifted.

He was awake when they entered the room.

"V! How do you feel now?" Nivi asked reaching him.

"Like a truck ran over me." He said playfully, that earned chuckles from the other two.

She slapped him on his shoulder scowling. "Idiot. That was so stupid of you. Don't you ever do that again. I feel responsible for your injuries." She said her voice cracking again.

"Nivi not again!" Viraj groaned. Varun arched his eyebrow at him.

"She's been crying since you got here. She feels guilty for your wounds."

"What?" Varun scoffed, but was ignored by Nivi

"Shut up Vijju. How can you be this casual about it." She glared angrily at him.

"Who said I am taking this lightly? We are going to personally deal with the contractor. How can he send an unconditioned vehicle for a heavy load?" He said fisting his palms, all the jollyness long gone from his face.

She shook her head at them and sat on the couch that's placed at one end of the room.

Vivaan stood next to the cot, looking at Varun. He squeezed his shoulder. "Thank you." He whispered feeling grateful for saving Nivi. He gave a small smile. "Don't mention it."

Nivi was brought out of her thoughts when her phone rang. It was Roshan.

She didn't get the chance to speak once she picked the call, because she was bombarded with questions by him.

"Nivi? Where are you? You are all over the local news. Is it true. Accident happened at your site? Are you hurt?"

"Ro! Stop it. Calm down and take a breath." She yelled stopping his questions.
