VIVAAN:

I told my parents about the news on phone the next day. I had them on the conference call, since mom is in London with Deepak uncle and dad is in hyd. They were ecstatic to say the least.

"I am sorry Mittu, we couldn't come to see you guys. If this conference is not important I wouldn't be in London at all." Mom said sadly.

"That's ok mom." I said, I heard shuffling "I have to go now. I will talk later." Mom said before dropping from the call.

"Will she continue to work Mittu?" Dad asked making me sigh.

"I haven't asked yet dad. I feel comfortable if she stays home. We don't know what Preetam is upto."

"Don't force her. If she wants to continue working, let her be. Forcing her to do something she doesn't like will increase stress. It's not good for her. Atleast you will be by her side all the time." Dad said.

Well that made sense. I can be with her most of the time so I can keep an eye her.

"Are you ready treasure?" I asked her going to our room. "Almost." I heard her voice from the dressing room.

She was sitting on the chair infront of the mirror applying kajal for her eyes.

I stopped in my tracks staring at her while she got ready. She looked like an angel.

I held my heart giving her a pained smile, when our eyes met in the mirror making her laugh. I walked to her rubbing my chest, bending down I placed my chin on her head, wounding my hands around her not breaking the eye contact.

"You look beautiful my love." I said gazing at her. Her cheeks turned pink. She averted her gaze from mine, in pretence of arranging the opened boxes, blushing like a cherry blossom.

Damn my heart! It will explode any minute.

"You look handsome too." She said again looking at me. "It's me who have to guard you from other ladies than the other way round." She said placing everything back in place on the dressing table.

"Really?" I asked smirking arching my eyebrow.

"Hmm. You are going to be the father of a second kid! But who would believe that? Put on some age man!" She said standing up facing me.

I burst out laughing pulling her closer to me. "I love you treasure." I said cupping her face. "I love you too my amul baby." She said making me shake my head. "I am not amul baby." I said with a fake glare. "Ofcourse you are." She said ruffling my hair.

Before I could react, she held her head and closed her eyes, and her body moved ever so lightly. "Nivi ma! Are you ok?" I asked worried holding her.

She fell on me, leaning her head on my chest, "dizzy." She whispered.

I scooped her up and settled her on our bed, ensuring she was comfortably seated with her back against the headboard.

"Stop looking at me like that. I am fine." She mumbled after few minutes, opening her eyes.

"I am worried treasure, I can't help it."

"Do you need to work in this condition? Can't you quit the job?" I asked holding her hands.

Well, I had to try atleast.!

"No Mittu. I will stop working may be after 5th month." She said frowning.

"Baby..."

"Mittu please? I am thinking to stop working after that. I don't plan on returning back to work. It will be hectic enough with managing the new born and Bittu. Let me work for these few months." She pleaded.
