"Thea," a soft voice coming from her back made her wipe her tears away.
She knew that voice. That voice calls her and talks to her softly. The voice that used to sing to her when everything was hard. That voice came from Yosh, her lover.
Lumingon siya at hindi siya nagkamali. Kiyoshi was standing behind her, holding a bouquet. And behind Kiyoshi, a few meters away were his friends; Kiroshi, Calyx, and Luciana.
"Why are you crying?" Kiyoshi asked softly.
Allie stood up and faced him. Lumapit na si Kiyoshi sa kaniya. Tears escaped again in her eyes as Kiyoshi approached her.
"Hey," Kiyoshi wiped her tears using his thumb.
Allie sniffed. "W-Why are you here?" She asked.
Kiyoshi chuckled softly. His eyes squint as he chuckles. "To ask for a closure, Thea. Kailangan ko na, e." He replied.
Allie's forehead creased. Huh? Ask for a closure. Is he going to move on? May iba na ba kaya humihingi siya ng closure?
"I'll let go of the past now, Thea." Including me.
Lumunok si Allie at nagbaba ng tingin. Nakita niya ang pagdating nina Tashi, kasama na ngayon sina Justice. Her heart clenched from what she heard. Kailangan na niya 'yung closure.
Huminga nang malalim si Allie bago nag-angat ng tingin sa dating kasintahan. She smiled to hide the pain in her eyes. Sakit n'on, ah.
"If ever you're in my arms again,
This time I'll love you much better,"
Tumikhim si Kiyoshi at napaiwas ng tingin. Saktong timing ng kanta, ah. Parang nanggagago. Pero ano nga ba ang purpose ng pagpunta niya rito?
"I want to talk to you, Thea. 'Yung tayo lang."
Allie nodded while her head was bowed down. "S-Sabi mo mahal m-mo pa a-ako," her voice broke.
Kiyoshi pressed his lips into a thin line to stop himself from smiling. Wala na, alam niya na ang kahinaan ko.
"Mahal pa nga kita, kaya nga ako nandito, 'di ba? I'll let go of the past, the painful past by talking to you; so that we'll create happy memories again, Thea."
Humikbi si Allie sa narinig. Talagang hindi tumigil si Kiyoshi sa pagmamahal niya kay Allie kahit iniwan siya nito.
"Let's forget about the past and create more memories again." Kiyoshi continued as he wiped her tears away.
