"Hey Ni-ki!"

"Ni-ki, are you okay?"

"Are you feeling better?"

"Ni-ki-"

Eunseo walked into class to see a huddle of students crowded around Ni-ki. His desk was packed with sweets and snacks from the school canteen, and her classmates were swarming around him like he was some celebrity. Eunseo had forgotten how popular he was at school.

"I'm really okay, don't worry about me." Eunseo watched Ni-ki as he smiled weakly and reassured everyone that he was feeling okay. Was he sick or something? 

Ignoring the scene, she walked to her desk and sat down next to Mina. 

"What's up with Ni-ki?"

Mina shrugged. "Apparently he's feeling unwell after having an allergic reaction."

Eunseo's eyes went wide. "Oh, he did? What's he allergic to?"

"Fish."

"WHAT." Eunseo had to do a double take. "What did you say?"

"He's allergic to fish, you didn't know? I thought everyone knew- he hates fish more than anything." 

Mina noticed Eunseo's guilty smile. "Eunseo girl what did you do..." She gulped. "I might have taken him to eat sushi with me yesterday."

This time Mina's eyes grew wide. "Did he not say anything to you? You could've killed him or something!"

Eunseo looked back at Ni-ki. "Why didn't he tell me? That dummy didn't say anything, he even ate the piece of salmon sushi I gave him. What do I do now?"

Mina sighed. "I'm done with you two. Just go and apologise, I have no idea why he didn't tell you either."

Eunseo looked away from Ni-ki, just in time to miss him glance at her from across the room.

"I hope you've started working on your assignments and gotten along with your partners," the teacher said. "It's due at the end of the term, remember to manage your time over these three weeks."

Eunseo scrunched up a piece of paper, this time with nothing on it. She threw it at Ni-ki, a replay of yesterday's events except it hit the target, catching his attention as he turned around in his chair.

"What's up?"

"Do you wanna..." Eunseo hesitated. "Do you wanna go study after school together?"

The boy stared at her. "For the assignment?"

She nodded anxiously. "There's a nice cafe I've been wanting to go to. I just thought it would be nice if we went together... You know like cafes have nice vibes and-..."

The boy broke into a mischievous smile. "Eunseo. Of course I'll go with you."

"Ahem."

"Nishimura Riki and Eunseo Lee. One day you're fighting and one day you're chattering like lovebirds. Make up your minds and stop talking during class." The class rattled in laughter. Eunseo turned bright red, wishing the ground would open up beneath her and take her away. "Sorry miss." Embarrassed, she looked down. 

" But I'm glad to see that you two are getting along soo well now." 

Eunseo's face was burning now. Groaning loudly in defeat, she covered her face and sunk into her seat, earning a chuckle from the teacher.
