Giovanni sat on the couch scrolling on her phone while also watching the warriors game. It was the fourth quarter and Jordan was put out into the court. Giovanni put her phone down smiling as she saw him run around the court with high adrenaline.
Jordan was a very high action guy when Giovanni met him. He was totally different from her but that's what made her so interested in him.
It was a very close game the score only being a 2 point difference.With just a couple seconds left Jordan got the ball making Giovanni sit up in her seat holding onto her blanket tightly.
Running around the other players, his face was externally focused keeping his eye on the ball. The time seemed to slow as he got an open shot, and he took it.
"Poole with the three pointer, does he make it in?" The announcer says watching closely. The ball flies through the air and flies right into the hoop.
"It goes in! It goes in! The golden state warriors win!" The man says laughing. Giovanni jumps up and claps with a big smile. Even though she wasn't there she was still always gonna support him and the team she grew up watching.
"Let's go! Yes Jordan!" She says sitting back down on the couch. She quickly sent him a text congratulating him and telling him to let her know when he's on his way. She locks her phone and heads upstairs to their room getting ready to lay down.
An hour passes and Giovanni was now peacefully sleeping in their bed with her phone still on and lying on her chest. The front door opens and shuts quietly as Jordan walked in.
This had become a routine for the two every time she couldn't come to one of his games. She would say to him that she will wait for him to come back and still be up, but of course that never happened.
Jordan put his stuff down and took his shoes off before making his way to their shared room. He walked in seeing her asleep curled up to the blanket. He walks over and picks her phone up putting it on the side table and kissing her head.
He then heads into the bathroom to get into the shower. After a few minutes Giovanni stirs and wakes up. She sits up and yawns before realizing that he was home. A smile toke over her face and she walked into the bathroom. He was halfway bent over into the sink brushing his teeth.
She walks over to him and wraps her arms around his waist snuggling into his back. Jordan rises up and turns around to hug her. "hi baby" he says holding her tightly to his chest.
"You did great tonight, i saw you breaking them ankles." She laughed into his chest. Jordan smiled and replied, "had to show out for you."
Giovanni rolled her eyes and leaned up to kiss him. The two then stayed in eachother embrase before deciding to get into bed.

Giovanni slowly blinked opening her eyes after hearing Jordan's phone ring. She fully opened her eyes to see Jordan right by her face sleeping. He was cuddling her closely to his chest which made it very hard for her to wake him up after the third call. Although confused as to why he hadn't woke up yet.
"Jordan your phone is ringing." She said in a soft voice rubbing his face. He moved his face closer to her hand tighten his grip around her waist. "Baby it seems important." she said again as they called for the fourth time.
He groans and opens his eyes grabbing his phone. Once he reads the name he smacks his teeth and gets up. "I'll be back in a second go back to sleep Gi." He said walking out of the room.
Giovanni shrugged and cozied back up into the blankets too tired to be confused as to why the person called so many times. So she did as what anyone would do and fell right back to sleep.
But after another hour of sleep she woke up reaching for his body. She was instantly met with the sheets making her look up confused. He still hadn't come back which had made Giovanni worried.
She sat up and wrapped her blanket around her body before going out to look for her boyfriend throughout the house. It didn't take long since as soon as she walked out she heard his tense voice.
"That doesn't make any sense and you know that! I just played an amazing game how is that fair?" Jordan yelled making Giovanni flinch a little. "Jordan please lower your voice" She softly spoke coming over to him.
Jordan looked over at the girl his eyes softening as she sat on his lap. He wrapped his free arm around her waist while still holding the phone. He took the phone off his ear putting it on speaker.
Giovanni looked at him confused but listened, "Listen Jordan the deal was already signed before you played these last couple games. I'm sorry but it's done." His manager spoke in a firm tone. It was clear that he was frustrated and done with the conversation.
Giovanni looked at him seeing him playing with her blanket with his eyes sad. Giovanni's heart swelled and she cuddled up to him, still not exactly sure what had happened.
"It's not like your not playing anymore your still gonna get onto the court, just for a different team. Look Jordan I have to go we can talk about this later." His manager spoke before waiting a couple seconds to hear a response. After not hearing anything he hung up.
Giovanni then realized that he has been traded. Her heart dropped and took his face into her hands. He looks completely drained and devastated. His eyes were glassy and Giovanni could only kiss his lips softly.
She didn't know exactly what to say to him because she had never been in a situation like this. Giovanni simply sat on his lap cuddling him trying her best to comfort him silently.
Jordan held on tightly to her leaving small kisses on her neck. He deeply appreciated her being there because he never had someone like that. Even though it would be hard he knew he would make it through with Giovanni on his side.
