I merged into traffic and followed the flow. I'm not sure where I am headed, but I'll know when I find it. I found a new gas station and filled the tank. I payed with cash. I drove for what seemed to be an hour or so but it was starting to get dark, so I found a camping bay and pulled up. Whatever I was looking for- I hadn't found it yet. I layed on the roof of the car thinking until I finally felt tired. I jumped off onto the cool red ground. I could feel each and every rock under the sole of my old worn out converses. I sat in the back of my car, untied the laces and slipped off my shoes. I had always kept a pillow and blanket spare in my car for nights like these. I shook the dust off them and made myself comfortable. after what seemed to be an eternity I drifted off to sleep.
